I usually make 20 oz batches and use approx 2.5 tsp of IPM.

I made some of this earlier today. I subbed cocoa butter for the mango and used jojoba oil. This is the smoothest, creamiest lip balm I've ever used. This is definitely going to be my recipe from now on. The other recipe I tried had too much of a waxy feel to it.

You can get cocoa butter at Walgreens it comes in a one ounce tube. The other butters are the one's you're probably going to have to order online.

Did you sub out all the other oils or just the sao?

You could make some really nice sugar or salt scrub with what you have left of the FBB. My daughter loves the stuff. She has at least 10 to 20 jars of it. No she will not use mine, but i just started making mine.

What is the lye solution that you guys are talking about? And if you mix that much solution then how do you know how much to measure out for your recipe? Tips would be great

How do i make sure that my containers are clean enough to put scrubs adn cream soaps in. wouldn't boiling melt plastic?? how do i go about it

Thanks bunches I have been wanting to make a lotion. I don't have any rose water can i sub somthing else? I think i might have every thing else but the sq what ever it is. Is there any thing that would replace that?

Not sure? I love the stuff. I gave some to my Pastor {who is a woman] She Told the whole church if they wanted some nice face soap they should get together with me. WOW I was so suprized. I gave it to her for Her b-day. But man I know that it should not be so hard. I wonder with all the aloe vera i put in it if it lowered the ph big time??????? I would like to have a metter but this is suppose to be a hobbie for me not a job. I just can't seem to justify it. good luck to you and please post your would love to see it.

Could you use that asa tester mold tooo. I mean that it looks as though you could put the two end pieces where you want them to be. Is that right or do the end boards have to be at the end?
