  1. Take care of yourself first, worry about your business later.
  2. If your looking for elegant and classy I would pick #1. If you like clean, simple lines, I would go with the last one.
  3. Has anyone used "Gone Country Graphics" to build a website for you. I purchased a website several months ago, at the time she told me it would be about 6 weeks, well it's been about 3-4 months and I have still not heard anything. I am not only getting annoyed but now I am beginning to get worried. All of her sights are beautiful and they seem very professional, but maybe something has happened and I was not notified. I have tried calling her and have emailed her but get no responses. I don't know what to do. I am running out of money very fast for my business and was counting on this website to help my business grow!
  4. Can I ask please, how many of you have your labels made for you and how many of you make your own? I have been making my own but was wondering if anyone thinks it's cheaper just to buy them already made? Thanks
  5. Bella, do you make candles or B&B products?
  6. I have a candle business and was thinking of expanding and adding bath and body products to my line. I do not have the foggiest idea how to get started making these types of products.....HELP, PLEASE!
  7. Actually, if the color in the pic is acurate, I think it's kind of cool looking. That color purple is very popular, I would think they would appeal to someone who likes a more modern look to things.
  8. very cool. I like it very much!
  9. Thanks everyone for your advice and words of encouragement. My heart and soul is in my business and it really helps to hear that you are/were all in the same spot I am. Let me ask though....do any of you work your business as your main source of income? In other words, is it possible to actually support your self with a business such as this? Thanks again!
  10. Can someone out there tell me what is the best wax to make fruit embeds. I make bakery style candles, so I use alot of fruit embeds. It seems like my embeds either turn out with a white film on them or they look too "waxy" instead of a shiney natural fruit look to them. thanks! :p
  11. Last October i started a candle business, i love it and my candles sell pretty well. My biggest challenge is finding the time to make my products. Also, I have to admit, for the time I am spening making and marketing my products I am beginning to question just how much profit i am truly ending up with when you count my time into the cost of things. Can I get some replies please from people who are actually making some sort of living from candle or B&B products. Thanks
  12. ok, that is amazing! How did you do that? It looks like the flowers and leaves are imbedded and the rooster is painted? Beautiful job!
  13. the tarts look great. Are these pictures your putting on your website or in a catalog?
  14. I am new to htis message board, actually this is my first message! Anyway, I want to thank everyone for such good input. I have been ordering scents from BCN and have been very happy with them, but after reading about some other suppliers I decided to give them a try. I just got my first order from JS and was extremely happy! i also oprdered a couple from MC but was not quite as happy with them. Thank you again! I would like to know if anyone has found a really good Chocolate scent, like to make Choc pie or a really good Lemon scent that does not smell like pledge. Thanks
