I have yet to make soap, but I will be soon. I was inspired by the tutorials that were here that Eugenia and Grumpy Girl did. Also, LovelyLathers since she was so encouraging at the craft show.
Everyone here is inspiring, because everyone makes such nice soap!!

Hi Angels,
Can you tell me what printing software you have? Mine is Smart code studio free, but it would print business cards or anything multiple on one page. I also just have a plain ink jet printer.
I know I am not Angels, but I use Word to make my biz cards and brochures. My biz cards came with the template numbers that were compatible with Avery, and I used that. The brochure template I got from microsoft.com.

Depends on the buyer and their mood . I can go to a holiday fair and all I will sell is flower scents and clean scents. Not a single holiday scent.

www.FrontierLabels.com
I worked with Lightning all the way through to the end, and just before they printed them, I canceled. It was the biggest headache of my life and my "salesperson" was rude and condescending.
I found Frontier and IMO, they're cheaper and way BETTER!! Ask for Maryanne (they also have an online quote calculator)
I tried the link, and it went to a website with a search engine.
Is this the correct place?

I will be restocking up for next weekends craft fair. I sold some stuff at my first fair last weekend, so I want to replenish what I sold. I also bought some samples I want to test out.

I totally agree with sockmonkey. Another thing is maybe she needs to leave the room and come back in. I know that sometimes when I am burning a candle I can't always smell it when I am in the room but when I leave the room and come back in I can.
Same here. Always notice the smell more when I leave the room and come back in. I think spending time with the scent, you tend to forget it is there.

Not sure. I just had an order shipped from them this week. I know there was a death in the family, so maybe they are just behind on some things.

I fill mine all the way to the top.

I think they are hysterical. Great job, and very umm..realistic

I like Relaxation, but I can't quite describe what it smells like.

Grandma's Kitchen is my favorite. I also get a lot of requests for the Sugared Cranberries and the Spiced Sugar Plums. I also like Spiced Apples and Peaches.

If you stay on candletech as well the instructions are around.
I believe for like 4 cups of corncob you add like 2 oz. of FO. Shake and let dry in the container. Usually dries within 3-4 days. You can add other stuff to help the scent linger longer.
Thanks Scented. The instructions I had were not specific how to dry it, so that really helps
-
I leave them in the container that I used to mix in. It needs to be shaken a few times everyday. Be careful that the lid doesn't come off while shaking:tiptoe:
LOL, I can only imagine what happened to you...
-
I was wondering how to dry the corncob. Do I leave it in the jars, or spread it out? The directions I have don't say.
TIA:)

I have my very first craft fair next Saturday, so I am just finishing up what I am making, and working on table decorations and such. I am very excited and already very tired
-
I love those! Those soap dishes are SO cute.

I use 3x3 zips for singles and 4x6 with a twist tie for up to 3 of the same smell. I get mine from uline or gtbag by the 1,000. I tried the candlesource ones, but I am almost 99% positive they are not polypro.

Unfortunately I could not go to class this weekend, but I read through the whole process just now, and feel very confident that I could do this. Even the swirling part made more sense than it ever did before.
Thanks Eugenia for doing this class. I really learned a lot from just the reading!!

I am having a hard time finding crushed corn cob at the local stores here, so I am going to order online. Is it OK to use corn cob bedding (for small animals) rather than crushed corn cob?

I use 4794 for my melts and could not be happier. Great throw and easy to work with. I have never tried the other wax.
