  1. well our face wash bath isn't in the least bit hard...its sooooo creamy & fluffy. it feels wonderful even i was surprised after reading others "stories" . I absolutly love this stuff...it even cleared up a son to bepimple before it started:yay: I just am not sure what caused a little seperation. when i put some in a jar you can see around the sides in the mixture some seperation and then just a few spots on top. SO i dont know how to keep it from not doing that. still works wonderfully to us & we just stir it...but if i were going to give it to someone i would want it to seperate.
  2. my face wash...my dh & i love this face wash but i noticed after 24 hrs a tad of oil seperation not alot but still it was there. how can i prevent this? no water was near or touched it. ffb sweet almond oil/olive oil honey tea tree oil brown sugar ( no particular order here)
  3. i think they would look lovely in black n white or sepia.

  6. i dont have a sams club & i haven't seen them at costco...
  7. doesn't oil leak from them? even hinge lid containers can leak...so im frustrated.
  8. also whats fun is at the dollar store they have the holiday cello bags..perfect for big bombs..i just trip the top w/ scallop scissors.
  9. do you just use this like reg. lotion? i always think A. G. is a tad tacky or sticky when first put on until it dries on the skin. I know im wierd...it just feels wierd to me. lol
  10. im so not finding anything successful to put samples in..darn it! people just want scent testers & such. I am somewhat limited as no more cash to keep buying stuff. i dont have a impulse sealer however i do have a food saver so tarted trying to make my own puches. I even tried it with my foil pouches some worked some didn't. i have tried so many things but nothing securely keeps my oils in.
  11. i shrink wrap most of the time...helps preserve my "goodies" on top. but mind you i have jumbo bombs that are heavy---8-9.5 oz
  12. hmmmm i think wsp is spendy...i got it for less than 6 for a lb. I use it in my cosmetics & fairy dust.
  13. Ok so Im a little frustrated....searched high & low for sample pouches that wouldn't rip me off in shipping ( the company) i then found some & thought they were the see through on one side ones as well as heat & seal ( like with a heart gun/hair dryer etc...) ok so i get them just in time cuz i have to leave tonight to give someone samples. NOPE not the ones I need or want or can use. Not see through, not easy sealable...not sure how to seal them probably something I dont have. And now not sure how to give someone my scrub/scent samples. Dont know what to do:sad2:
  14. I left some in a bowl & it had beaters in it...dumb dh dipped his finger in & tasted it. Thought it was frosting LOL:rolleyes2
  15. I think perhaps its the recipe used...mine are packed so tight- like little weapons, the could do some damage if thrown
  16. just thought i could gt a few ideas on here ( guess not)..im not a soaper and dont want to belong to a bunch of forums when im not on-lin e a ton. thanks anyways.
  17. LOL mine all float ( small, med or extra large)
  18. sounds like you have too much liquid/oils in your bombs.
  19. make sure you dont have too much going on...too busy of a background, it will take away from your products. How about just a plain background like white or black from felt, fabric etc... to make your items pop? Or how about a nice soft print sheet something very suttle & then put boxes under it to create demention and different levels for your products to sit on. how how about a plain background and maybe some flower pots like terricota and putting them upright, on their sides very simple & just a slight added feature to your products.
  20. ok so we all did the HUGE thread of FO that discolor soap...what about the ones that dont. I am affraid to ruin another batch. I cant use vanilla or wedding cake for my cupcake soaps. But even for reg. ones not sure if the FO I want to use will "ruin" more soap.
  21. I know & saw the thread on liability insurance...but any of you from Oregon; who do you use and what do you ask or need to know when getting information about it. I dont have it and am just starting on the venture...so now I need to see if insurance would break me out of even starting this business. In oregon what do the need from me...meaning do they come to my home ( agents) i dont have an designated business area.
