    Has anyone tried Backwoods and Flickers FOs with the GL 70/30 wax? I know some FOs behave differently in different waxes so I thought before I ordered I'd check in. I've heard so much about these 2 suppliers. Sigh. more companies to try. LOL

    are you letting them cure at all? Soy typically throws better (in my experience) after it cures for a bit.

    Ok, thanks for the info! I wondered about that. Hmm...makes me leery of trying any of the other recipes in the book. It's written by the gal that own sunfeather...

    No, it's MP. I double checked because I was thinking the same thing.

    I have been using MP bases for awhile and recently stumbled on a book at the library with some recipes in it. One of them calls for 2 c. MP base and 1/2 c. Water. Now, during my heavy research phase, I recall reading that you shouldn't add water to MP because it becomes slimy. This recipe really didn't call for anything else (it's a specific kind of water). My question is has anyone used water with the MP bases and while I think 1/2 c. sounds like a lot, what about reducing that to like 3 T. ?

    I loved the antahala vanilla, but prefer it for B&B rather than candles because I didn't think the throw was that strong. The orchid magnolia is awesome and I LOVE grapefruit watermelon!

    The Essentials by Catalina looks great, it's too bad they only sell it in 20 lb. increments.

    I charge a flat rate too. If it's less to ship than that I will refund the different and if it's more...well they got a deal then.

    I have used her too in the past and all of my stuff still looks great! I have several totes with logos and a shirt. Cafe-press.com also does this but they are more expensive.

    I know the gal that owns that and she's totally on the up and up. She doesn't keep any of the samples for herself. I know she hastn' been in business as long as Lemming Central but has received good reviews from the participants of her sample boxes on another forum.

    I've had good luck with GL Grapefruit Watermelon. Yummy!

    I would venture to say that it's the liquid dyes. I have read that the chips and flakes should be used for 100% soy because of frosting issues. JMO.
