Anyone have any tips on how to safely dispose of a premixed lye solution?

I'm not nearing 50 (33) YET but I would love to test this. I have a horribly dry flaky face.

I have used both the LX and HTP's with good results (meaning not much trouble with shrooms). But I have heard a lot of good about the CDN also. If it were me I would probably go with the LX and CDN.

I think you are being too hard on yourself. I really like it. Blue is my favorite color.

Orange Spice- It's a light scent, OOB the spice is strong. In wax it was very light all you could smell is orange with a 2 day cure. Made another one cured it for 1 week (way to long) and it was still light.

Black Raspberry Vanilla- Excited that I finally found one that will throw well in both of my waxes.

Wedding Cake- Really like this scent

Fall Festival- Strong, Strong, Strong with both waxes. Different scent nice for fall.

Tropical Vanilla- OOB really nice, smelt a very strong bubble gum note. Maybe that's just me. First poured it into Melt Wax and had a strong fuel smell but that went away when I tested the Melt. Still waiting for the 415 to cure, just poured it today.

Butterscotch- OOB smells great, Nice even scent with my 415 and Melt wax BUT when you first light it or put it in your warmer. It smells like Puke. But after it lingers it smells better. No, joking had 4 testers out of 5 tell me the exact same thing.

I'm not sure either but I think I read somewhere that the CDN can wick down 1 size from the CD. I may be wrong, maybe Stella can answer that one. I think I'm going to start out with the CDN 10 though.

Thanks Stella! Didn't have much luck with single wicks. May try again when I'm not so busy.

VE- That is where I was thinking about starting (CDN 10). Have no experience with the CDN's though so I wanted to get opinions. Thanks for the input. That is what I wanted!

I had big huge shroom's when I tried the single wick in this jar, but I put a CDN in my pillar and got none! Go figure. Maybe it's the wick size, maybe the FO, maybe the wax, maybe all three, I dunno!

I'm double wicking an apothecary jar. I think it's just under 4" dia. Most of my scents I can use an LX 16, some I have to go up. The scent I'm trying to get wicked now(andes thin mint), I'm already up to an LX 20 and still doesn't want to burn right. I can't imagine going higher than the 20 so I thought I would give the CDN's a try. I hoped you would jump in here and help me, since you are the Queen of CDN's, LOL. Thanks Stella!

Was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I'm having trouble with my LX's with some scents, and I'd like to try CDN's, but can't figure out where to start. I've tried comparing the wick charts but not having much luck figuring out a comparable CDN for my LX 18. Hoping someone doesn't mind helping me out. Thanks in advance.

Hmmm wondered if this thread was really netteling anyone so I did a search. Seems like Ring of Fire's first post was the "let it die" comment. And Mz B was ribbing us when she made her first post on Dec 10th.

They're tired of seeing it listed on the new posts pages - I think they must have just stopped in to say Hi AND bump it up on the new post page again! Just where they were complaining about seeing it.

Back to business. Thanks for the recommendations Linnaete & Sharon, getting the Teak and got the Cashmere. Funny, if Bert hates it I usually love it - like the bayberry & lavender. Getting the Ylang and Essenza for diffusers but will try it in some CB-135!

Well that really sucks because I bought a mold mid-December and never received it. Don't think I'll be waiting around for it either.

It's 3" and soy. The soy part is what is making me wonder about wick sizes.

Made my Pillar. Couldn't wait to burn it, so I lit it last night. Not much HT but it was only about 10 hrs old. Started with a LX 26 wick. After about 4 1/2 hrs it had less than a 1/4 in shell, and pretty good size mushroom. Seems like I need a bigger wick for MP size, but seems to need smaller for mushrooms. Not sure where to go from there. Thought about trying a CDN but the sizes (on the chart) don't seem big enough.

Customer's say mine smells just like VS Lovespell. I couldn't honestly say, since I've never smelled VS. I guess I'm the only one in the universe who hasn't. But, I get mine from KY.

NG's is good. MC's seems good to me.

I just poured MC's love spell in a pillar this morning and wow is it strong. I used to hate this scent. I guess it's grown on me. Still not my favorite but I can tolerate it. My SIL loves it.

I think it is a matter of choice. You can pour it with the wick already in, but til you know what size wick you will use IMO it's easier to do this way. Then if one wick isn't burning good you can just pull it out to change.

Sorry the pic is not the greatest. It's not fancy like most of the other beauty's on here, just thought I'd share my first try. Still trying to figure out my new camera.

Scented Love Spell. Not sure what caused the line near the bottom, but oh well. Now to figure out what wick to use....

I think this is a good thread to keep going. The other one is so long it's impossible to find any info. I think we should keep this one going with just results.

Just wanted to add that Raspberry Brulee in GB 444 at 6% is awesome. Burns beautifully and smells amazing.

Having a little trouble wicking the Andes thin mint. Anyone else have problems with this?

I have 5 more testers poured and waiting. I will post results this week.

Also got a little fuel smell in the Tropical Vanilla but the tin I had it poured in was way overwicked so I'm gonna change the wick and hope it helps. This is a very nice scent, oob.

ETA: Glad to know about the musk. I already have a ferret so don't need any more of that scent here, LOL!
