WOOHOO........3rd & 4th layers done.
5th layer setting.....it's so much easier when you can get your fingers in, I found I could gauge the amount of pressure much better & get deeper indentations.

2nd layer setting up ready for being spooned!

What did you do?
I think the wax was too cool so it cracked away from the side of the mould.
I've tried again & it's better so I left that & did second colour.
Still not great but it didn't crack off so I'm going to leave that too.

I've not used that FO but I have had it happen with a Berry Bubblegum tin. It got worse with age but burned really well, however I really don't like the FO so it won't be a problem in future.
I've had strong vanilla's & FO's with vanilla in rusting wick sustainers so I'm guessing the pumpkin souffle has a bit of vanilla in it too.
No clue as to what to do to stop it happening tho.

I went to a local supplier and same thing smelled nothing like cinnamon. What about cinnamon bark eo?
Ground cinnamon & cinnamon sticks are from the bark so I think cinnamon bark EO would be the one to go for........I've got a little cinnamon leaf EO & its not what I want either but I can't find cinnamon bark EO anywhere yet, now I'm wondering if it exists.

Melt some paraffin and put some wick in and wait until it stops "fizzing" - take it out and wipe excess with a paper towel and stretch it out. Works for me.
Thats just what I do, that way I can use as long or short a length as I need. Works out a lot cheaper too.

Been talking with Bert today (she's a joy to deal with) & I'm holding on till the new oils come in so I can fill a flat rate box for shipping over here.
I have a list of definates, a list of maybes & at this rate I'll have a list of recommended by CTers too. Christmas Pear & the Cinnamon Nutmeg & Clove are already on the definates.
I really do NOT need this temptation........or do I?
