  1. Has anyone come across a company that sells unique scents?? I have had one request for wasabi and I guess that is a big one with Party Lite and Williams and Sonoma(spelling). I have also had a request for Tomato!

  2. I have tried from JS and Lotion Crafter. Lotion Crafter right out tells you it is IMP. I only tried JS with one scent and didn't get much scent out of it. Lotion Crafter works pretty well but only in small places like a bedroom or bathroom. The reeds are a really big thing around here and I would love to fine one the works really well. It looks like candles and supplies is only $11.99 per pound am I seeing this wrong? Has anyone tried any others?

  3. I haven't seen any clear waterproof labels. I tried some decoupage(spelling?) spray last night and I will test today and see how that will work. I also ordered samples from onlinelables.com I just wish they didn't have such a high minimum. I seem to be have a hard time mastering anything!

  4. I know this is a big dilemma for everyone! I had been using the crystal clear labels from label by the sheet and just double labeling to make them waterproof. Well after I have sold a lot of shower gels and shampoos I made a few to take with us on vacation. Not 2 days later and the labels fell off the bottles!! Now I have noticed they are peeling off my other bottles as well even without water. I assume it is because after I double them up they are to heavy. I also tried spaying them but it leaves a bumpy texture and doesn't always work. Has anyone mastered this yet??? It is sooooooo frustrating. I looked into getting a laser printer which I have heard works awesome but it is a $400.00 investment.

  5. I did a Embedded photo yesterday and that was a lot of fun. Even though I used a wax that was the wrong melt point. Whoops! I always find this stuff out afterwords~I am going to try one of these layered candles today! I am usually pretty good with the search on here. I just didn't seem to find any thing on this specific question. Maybe I didn't search the right key words. Thanks for all you relies and I will defiantly let you know how the 70/30 works with the layers.

  6. I am using Peaks IgI 4624. I melted to about 190 is when all the wax was melted and added my color and Fo and thats it no other additives. Then I poured at 160 but poured down the sides first then placed it in a water bath. it seems to have caved a lot on the second pour as well. It smells really good though!

  7. I am going to make a layer candle using greenleaf 70/30. But if I pour it in a cold container I get wet spots. So if I already have 1 or 2 layers in the jar how do you only warm the jar and not the wax to pour the next layer? I hope I am making sense.

    Thanks

  8. I just made my first pillar. It honestly turned out pretty ugly! As I was making it I didn't know how many times or how often I need to poke relief holes. What is the norm on this??? The directions just said poke several times.

    Thanks Everyone

  9. That is a hard one. To me watermelon the actual fruit smells very light but candy more packs a punch. When I was pouring it, it smelled kinda like watermelon jello. I should be getting my watermelon from wicks-end end by Friday and am going to compare the two. I could let you know.
