  1. After looking at this recipe for weeks I finally tryed it... I had another tub truffle recipe but I thought I would try this to compair....

I LOVE IT! I had the best bath of my life last night...and I really need it, I have been soooooo stressed!!! Thanks so much for sharing!!!!

  2. Well you learn something new everyday! thanks... the hospital actually gave me baby oil to use on my baby (i didnt, i used it on myself lol) so I just assumed it was safe! I have made other massage oils out of food grade oils but I have yet to use grape seed...where would I find that? can I get it at a store or would I have to order it?

  3. I can see it now...LOL sorry I know computers are impossible... It looks good... very simple... if you are going for a simple look its great... if you want it jazzed up a bit I would play around with the foot prints. Robyn's ideas are a good start. Also maybe play around with the font... I found that by just changing the font of my labels I was able to gear the same product (with the same label) to many different customer.... Just some ideas....

It looks good though... reminds me of walking on the beach lol... i know its mint foot spray but it just seems tropical.

  4. Ok I just had to come on here and say that I LOVE passionate Kisses (VS type)... I sooo need to head on down to the US and pick up some products from Victoria's but for now I will settle for my homemade soap with the FO.:yay:

That being said... anyone with any sugestions of scents that I should try... Must have scents... or sents you love...

Also anyone with samples they would be willing to part with can pm me to :rolleyes2

  5. I feel bad for the guy... but that really made my day... its soooo funny! I can just see him sneeking a "candy" and getting a mouth full of bath product ...yuck!!! Maybe you should leave a real candy on your desk and a note that says its safe to eat lol.

    Poor guy.

  6. How large are the bags? I have only ever worked with the ones that are the size of actual tea bags... I havent seen larger ones (but I guess I wasnt looking either) I think this sounds like a cool idea... it would be good for the customer to smell the soap through the bag...

for labeling you could try a tag attached with some rafia or something similar... it would give you a very nice clean look I think... maybe add a button or something too for added draw.

Let me know how it works if you try it! and post a pic!!!

  7. I was reading about the lotion sticks in the other part of the board and it made me remember to post this... I made this foot scrub and named it Flip Flop Fix...it went over really well with all my 'girls'...plus I LOVE IT...and I LOVE flip flops!! (Great minds think a like I guess, someone thought that sandle fix could be a good name for a lotion stick)

  8. Here they are... don't they look like summer... ah summer... I cant wait!

These little puppies are scented with green-strawberry kiwi, pink(clear)-raspberry, orange-peaches and cream, and pink(opaque)-raspberry and cream

oh and the sticks are emery boards not popsicle sticks to keep with the bath and body theme

  9. I can understand wanting to make soap! I do too... I havent tried CP yet though.... I think that M&P can make a great bussiness its all in the creativity! People like to get something unique... and not everyone has the time and ideas to make unique soaps.... so although it is relatively easy to do m&p... I think that its the ideas and time you are really selling. (along with a great product!)

  10. If its glycerin soap you want M&P will be your new best friend! The best part about it is its really hard to mess up (unless you add to much Stearic Acid...but I wouldnt recomend adding any anyways lol long story)

What I would do to start is buy some base and some colors and scent... bring it home and see what you have that you can use as a mold... I really like empty juice cans and right now I am making soap popcicles out of a popcicle mold.... anything that is bendy (a bit) will work.

Just have fun...play around and be creative... there are lots of good ideas on this board go and look in the gallery for some inspiration and jump in...

you will love it!!!! welcome to soaping!!!
