  1. When I do layers I let the first layer set up for a little bit spritz with alcohol then gently pour on the second layer. continue to do that with each layer. I hope this helps. SUE
  2. You can find them in Walmart in the housewares dept. They are not expensive at all, I think paid $4.99. Target has them too. They are used to slice french fries or veggies. Hope this helps. Sue
  3. I put 2 ounces of shea butter in a pound of mine. You can do the same with cocoa butter also. I also use Lavender buds, oatmeal. I really do not measure them but I would say it is about a half a cup per pound. Make sure your soap is cool enough so it suspends in the soap. I made a chocolate one last night I added a heaping tablespoon of cocoa powder to 2 lbs and 2 ounces of cocoa butter. It came out great. You can also add loofah to it. Hope this helps.
  4. I have tried to do it with m&p. I left the loofah whole and I found it was very difficult to cut, it was frustrating to say the least.. It was rough and splintered, I was not pleased with the results. I then did it by preslicing and found it came out much nicer and looked great. Hope this helps. Lovely Lathers
