I use it too and prefer it over 1343...and ditto what Beth said.
same for me

Usually for soy I use EL's Pomegranite. A friend used to love Illuminations and fell in love with this version. I've also tested JBN's and there's is nice and super strong too.

Just by Nature or Tradewinds' Hawaiian Sandalwood FO are both fantastic in 100% soy... not perfumery, more earthy

I use EL votive and container wax. I use HTP41 for votives. I put them in a votive holder and they completely burn down like a mini-pillar. Cinnamon is usually one of those fragrances you have to wickup on...
edited to add... I love cotton wicks for EL 100% soy container wax.

I put mine in a plastic bag and drop it outside. Too much noise, too much mess. After reading here, I am going to go the pillow case and freezer route

I made a banana soap with no added scent. It was very mild and had a nice mellow scent. I loved it! I didn't take any extra precautions. Final color was a light yellowish/tan with little brown specks. I used it down to the last little sliver.

I love 100% soy wax in soap. I use between 10-20%. Makes a super hard bar & adds creaminess too.

Banana Cream Pie from ICS is out of this world strong in 100% soy.

lovely :highfive:

love those colors! I'd be curious to know if it discolors.

beautiful :highfive:

WSP has them.

I use BG 100% soy and test anywhere from 3-5 days after pouring. Sometimes, if I am particularly anxious I'll test after 24 hours. I get the same results using KY 100% soy.

sounds yummy!

Palm sterine is stearic acid, definetly not an oil, and using more than 1-2% will giv eyou a highly unworkable batch.
Palm is solid at room temp, but the moment it's let in a slightly warm spot it'll start to liquify. I usually get my palm from WSP. Now, this is palm, not palm kernal. Huge difference between the two.
If you wanted to go ahead and make this batch without it, sub straight lard for the palm and put it back through a lye calculator. It'll be creamier to use, and easier to work with.
ditto to what Bunny said!

Well (sorry to be a downer), when I tested the Millenium Wax vs the Regular 100% soy I got different results (hot & cold) with the wax.

congratulations! :highfive:

The best sage FO I've ever used has been Desert Sage from Steve's (is that the one you didn't want?). ICS has a sage fo. It's not as strong nor does it have the same depth as Steve's but will work in a pinch.

Tenn Candles has a Tangerine Dream that is simply marvelous. I've only used it in 100% soy.

Their Desert Sage is THE bomb in 100% soy.
These also perform outstanding in 100% soy: Lilac, Leather, Wintergreen, Country Cranberry, Grape, Snow Cream). I've used some others but that is all I can think of right now.
