I haven't found a coconut that throws in any soy wax. If I mix it with something else it's ok, but not on it's own.

KY has a fantastic coconut! I use EL 100% soy. It smells chemical/nasty OOB but really blooms and throws well in wax.

I've seen pink sugar that is yellow until the soap cures a while longer then it is some form of brown.

Have you tried SweetCakes Sandalwood FO? Strong and smells much like the real thing. A great mixer. HTH :smiley2:

It's been a few years but I use to use that wax. I didn't add anything to it and I got smooth tops. I wish I could remember what temperature I poured but has been too long. Take Michelle up on her offer to help. EL has great customer service!

same sentiments as you! I had no problems with smooth tops. That was one of the things I loved.

I use KY's Strawberry in 100% EL soy.

Great looking soaps. Are your soaps CP? I thought shape master molds were only good for HP soaping.

I've been doing a search recently ... from what I gather, Desert Sage is a good one. Maybe others will jump in here.
