Herzlichen Dank nochmal! 😊
  2. Thank you, Bee, much appreciated, I’ll definitely reach out!
  3. Hey guys, hope you’re all well and that you had a nice weekend! Could anyone please help me find wax manufacturers from Europe? Sasol and Cargill have European warehouses I think but I haven’t found much else. The wax I use is a coconut and rapeseed blend and ideally I would like to continue using that/something similar. I desperately need to find them as I usually buy from CandleShack but Brexit charges are ridiculous (got notice from DHL that I need to pay 1k on an order worth 670€). So that’s obviously not feasible. If anyone has any information regarding manufacturers or even resellers I would be eternally grateful. Thank you!
  4. If you're planning on selling goods with homemade oils you're likely going to have to jump through a lot of hoops, safety testing, labs, regulations, fun stuff like that 🙈
  5. Don‘t know how I got this lucky, I hope everybody here has somebody supportive in their corner as well 🙂
  6. Hey guys, do you mind me boasting for a second? My genius welding-wizard husband made a wax melter for me that holds 25kg, it‘s made the process sooo much faster 😍 That’s it, boast over- have a great weekend! 😬
  7. It just sounds too good/easy to be true. A product that doesn't require MONTHS of testing?! Pinch me, I might be dreaming. I'll definitely look into this further, thank you so much for your help!
  8. It‘d be interesting to know how many brands actually work ethically, transparently etc instead of just claiming to do so for a good image. Thank you for sharing this!
  9. Thank you for your insight and the link @TallTayl! Do you notice any difference in throw depending on the size of the crystals used? Would it be like with candles, the larger the surface area (meltpool diameter) the stronger the throw ? 🤔
  10. Hi everyone, hope you're well! We're looking to expand our product range and was thinking of making crystal diffusers (from rock salt crystals). I found some posts about them but they were from over a decade ago, so I just wanted to check in and ask if anybody is selling them and if so, if they sell well. Trying to decide if I should look into sourcing materials or let the idea die because it's BS 😅 Thank you!
  11. Hi everyone, hope you're all alright and that you had some Happy Holidays! I'm looking into changing some things up as I'm not super happy with the way my candles look (clear vessels and wet spots - > inevitable and infuriating), which is why I want to get opaque vessels in two sizes, single and multi wick. Currently I have a single wicked 150g and a double wicked 380g, they're pretty much equally popular, but I've just been selling to friends and family, so I'm trying to collect more data before making a decision. I'd very much appreciate it if you could let me know what your most popular sizes(single/multi wick) are Picture for referrance, I'd be interested in size #12 for the large size for a good HT in large rooms. (in an opaque glossy white perhaps🤔 or do I go with matte, or another color AGGHHH deciding is so hard haha) _____ (sidenote : love this all glass one, making me second guess that wetspot issue ngl 😍) Sorry for being a bit all over the place, thanks for reading
  12. Hey Pam, thank you for taking the time to reply! We‘ll stick to FOs that work across products for now as well, the reason to change to specific formulations would be better performance. But we‘ll cross that bridge when we come to it 😋 Thanks again, hope you had a Merry Christmas !
  13. Thank you so much for taking the time to respond, @TallTayl! I wanted to confirm that using different formulations is something companies actually do before sinking any more time into researching and subsequently driving myself insane. And thank you for easing my anxiety on selling perfect products only 😅 We‘ll definitely have to wait to make the move but it may be worth considering. Do you notice any considerable change in performance of your products? Would you mind pointing me into the direction of the suppliers for the versatile oils (totally okay if you’re not comfortable) PS. Excellently is a word 😋
  14. Hi everyone, hope you‘re all happy and healthy! I‘ve been lurking for a while and really appreciate all of the knowledge you all share, thank you! One thing that I haven‘t been able to find much information about anywhere on the internet is specific FO formulations for different product types. Most FO‘s I‘ve come across are supposed to work for various types of scented products - candles, soaps, air fresheners etc. all at the same time. Of course different percentages would be used depending on the product to make it skin safe and such, but the „one size fits all“ approach didn‘t really satisfy me. I then came across this video by AFI and it would make sense that different product types would require different FO formulations to perform ideally. So I‘ve found a few suppliers that stock FO for candles ONLY and they perform great. However we‘re looking to rebrand and add different product types to the lineup, which leaves me wondering if sourcing different types of FO formulations in the same scent to make various product types work perfectly, worth it. I did some digging and found scent manufacturers instead of just large resellers and they carry oils for their various purposes. However their MOQ are pretty hard for us to do right now (about 25kg per scent). So my long-winded question would be.. does anyone have experience with product specific FO formulations? Knowledge about their performance or any other knowledge regarding this? Thanks, hope you all have a great day!
