    i found a recipe for a candle that i want to try that calls for 2/0 wicking and all i have now is #2 , will it make a difference ?

    the pink, green and white chunks are for SIL ,scented Gardenia for her Bday , sorry they just happened to be in the pic with a test candle...lol red is for sons gf ,scented cherry berry for her Bday and the layer is left over wax from the first

    you only heat the mold where you are gonna pour not the entire mold, ok how do you add a pic?i've never posted a pic here before

    cold mold , try heating with heat gun before pouring next time

    mine sink also , are they supposed to float? Bombs in the movies sink in the ocean , i thought they were supposed to sink

    ask what color her decor is and go from there , most brides make it common knowledge to people for the shower gifts

    some waxes shrink a bit and you have to do a second pour to get the top (or bottom) evened out depending on which type wax and candle , when you order wax some companies have it listed the shrinkage By the way , Not a stupid question , we all started somwhere

    when people ask me (not selling) what to do about a candle like this i tell them to get a warmer plate and use it up , WOW ! what a bad example of what a candle should do

    i use 1343 and i think the pinhole problem might be tiny air bubbles trapped in your mold try heating your mold and after pouring tap all the sides with a knife to release them

    what is the difference between 1343A and 1343 ? candles and supplies has 1343

    i put a drop of each in a baggie then add more by drop as needed , if you keep up with the drops you get a ratio of how much of each one is needed for that scent
