Sweet!

Those are lovely! Are you hooked already? I love making soap even though swirls and coloring are a challenge. Wicking just seems more frustrating for me trying to get a perfect burn. Thanks for sharing the pics.

That is just gorgeous! Is that hand painted?
-
OMG! Both of you have gorgeous swirls. I love his molds but could not get it to stop sticking. The workmanship was excellent and perfectly made. I should have tried a harder recipe I think.

The molds and dividers are made by Wayne (DH) and come apart. Thank you for the nice comments (blushing). I was nervous and sound like a dork but thought it might be helpful for newbies, which I am still.
Thanks for looking.

That is amazing!
:yay:

I love the colors and the sparkly makes them stand out. Very pretty.

We love the Dollar stores. My DH almost cried when they closed our Big Lots. LOL Good find.

Yes, FO'S can affect your trace. Some florals are known to be really fast movers and then some play nice like your Lavender. I've had some non florals move move pretty quick too. Just keep notes and you'll know which ones to watch for. You can also look up how scents will do here---

No way I could pick a favorite. WOW!

Great soaps, colors and variety.

So Pretty! Reminds me of Peacock feathers in some places. I really like it.

I leave it at 5%. I tried to discount water but maybe I didn't do it right.
Lard 20%
Tallow 17
coconut 13
PKO 15
OO 29
castor 6
hardness 43
cleansing 19
cond. 53
bubbly 25
creamy 29
iodine 53
ins 150
water 395 gr.
lye 169.34 gr.
Does this look alright? I love that this is a harder bar than my other recipe.

The 4 layered soap I made was in a log mold DH made me just for this. It is taller than wide. 3 1/2 tall by 2 1/2 wide. HTH

Since using beef tallow, four of us are having problems with pimples. We didn't seem to do this with lard or Crisco soaps, haven't tried palm. Is this just coincidence with winter skin or is their something about tallow that causes this? Just thought I would ask the experts here to see if anyone knows. Thanks

The winner is... LOL Gorgeous!

Hmmm. I don't know then. I know it does smell different than the Ezra from AH/RE. Sorry I couldn't help.
-
Southern Scentsations has it at a very reasonable price. I use it in soap and candles. Usually if they say it's the original scent, it is EZRA which smells awesome too. FIERCE is a little spicier. My son wears this so I can compare scents. I have bought several bottles that turned out to be EZRA before I found the Fierce at Southern Scentsation I could afford. HTH

I hate it when that happens but that is beautiful.

Great colors for that scent and swirls are looking good.
-
I don't think you will be disappointed, his molds are nice. More than anything, I love dividers. I can't cut straight for anything. Happy soaping.

Perfection! The color and swirl.
