Go to the distributor, Riekies.

Cet, personally I love it when you get ON your soap box. An intellectual argument is a rare thing!
Thanks for the links, they are great
Dat.
Intellectual? It's completely off the topic.

the logo is not changing.
If you still dont get it then there is no help for ya
If you still don't get it, there's no help for you! Your logo says PURE CLEAN SOY. If that's not false advertising, I don't know what is!

You might consider, too, changing your name here to BellaSoyBlend. Even your name is a lie.
-
my site does not suggest that my candles are 100% soy.
Tsk tsk tsk, very, very misleading. Were I the public and saw your banner PURE CLEAN SOY, I would think your candles were, hum, let me think, oh, yes, PURE SOY.
To those of us who know better, PURE SOY and SOY BLEND are very much two different things.

I always get next day delivery from suppliers in same or next state. I don't consider it anything special. My suppliers are super nice, too. I don't consider that special, either. Just good business.
-
Sorry, I didn't read the endless posts before seeing you have picked English words. Very nice, very funky, very fun.

I hate to rain on everybody's parade, but, imo, never pick a name people can't pronounce or easily identify with. If you're not located in the French Quarter, lose the french. Especially in TX.
The KISS rule never applied more than in picking a business name.

you are all correct. and as I stated, the size of mold/number of wicks *see subject* doesn't seem to address the actual question.
Also, as I stated, use a big enough pot to melt all the wax you will need to finish the candle. Pretty simiple, eh?
Making candles is, indeed, a science.
-
Avery's graphics suck though.
You can import any graphics from anywhere on to your Avery labels.
-
You use melting apparatus that holds more than 5 lbs of wax. A Presto works well for melting up to 8 lbs. You will never be able to match colors in two separate batches.
I have no clue what 3 wicks has to do with it, though.

Yes I know what you mean when you are in a rush.
Sorry I don't make rustics, I like the look of them & yours are great.
Being an Artist in other medium's I'm a color person and see things differently.
Sorry if I sounded to critical. Yourself and others may like the order of those colors. IMO - I see the visiual weight of those candles as top heavy to me JMO.
Now I'm confused. You said you *always* make yours with the light color on top. Now you say you dont' make them at all. And if you're a floral designer, surely you know water is always at the bottom, with flowers and greenery at the top.
Balloon artist? I give up! What is it?
If you are an *artiste*, you know the saying, "I may not know much about art but I know what I like." That is, in the end, what art truly is. Perhaps a refresher course is due?

I must be doing something wrong. I've been making candles for years and have bought hundreds and hundreds of bottles of fo. Not samples, real bottles.
I have never, ever had a floatie. Not once. Ever. Not even a hint of a floatie.

Miss Melly, I did not say I had never used Just Scent. I said I have never bought Just Scent. Miss Annie has sent me some to test to see if I got the same negative result as she did. I got the same negative result. It was no good. I tested it and threw it out. It was not worthy. There were 13 scents that we have shared test results over a period of about a year.
On a positive note, none of it had sticks, cocoa, twigs, berries, waste material, or anything unidentifiable in it. It just wasn't good fo.
Who is reading things that aren't there? It seems fine to mention that scents are no good. That's why we're here. To share. I didn't think that was stirring any pots. Any honest review is a good review, even if it is not what you want to hear.

Nobody can rate a wick until they know what it's being used for. Rate it for what?
That's like asking how you would rate an apple. It depends on what you're using it for. It wouldn't work very well for Cherry Pie.

You should call her. I've heard she's nice to talk to.

I just got my first order from JS and was extremely happy! i also oprdered a couple from MC but was not quite as happy with them.
Have you tested them yet? Let everybody know when you do.
-
She should raise her prices to cover the cost of all the solid waste matter in her bottles

Is this a joke?

I use a 30/70 blend that you can cut with a fork. I LOVE nice soft waxes.......mine is not quite as soft as the Red Flower candle line (LOVE this line!), but it is soft.
Would that work with tapers? How much vybar to you have to use? Did you get the idea from the RF tapers? I don't know that brand. Where do you buy them? Are they expensive?
-
I don't get it. That doesn't look like a thin black line. I'm confused. Is it supposed to be thin or did you want it to dribble. Honestly, I don't know if that is what you wanted to look like or if you are asking what went wrong. Not trying to be too dumb, but I really don't know.
-
It's obvious it is not marble, but what is it supposed to be? Call me dumb.
-
lol, I think it's supposed to be chocolate. A valentine. With chocolate dribbling down the sides.
Where do you get your clipart for labels

Considering there are 63 pages of heart clip art, 15 hearts per page, and that's not counting other media, if you can't find something there, I can't imagine where you will find it. Hearts are pretty generic. A heart is, after all, a heart.
