Wow!  One of the clips has nothing to do with the driver mishandling the package but to me it is even worse than that.

There is a ton more on youtube but i posted this one due to 2 clips in it specifically.

Oh, sorry! I thought you didn't see my list LOL!

I do like their pumpkin creme brûlée too. I actually have that one too but didn't list it. I don't use it very often because here in Texas it's not a good seller for me. People here love their leather! YUK! LOL!

I don't think you'd be disappointed in that one or southern pecan pie. They're both good!

I love going into stores that sell a bunch of leather wallets and other things.  The smell is just so good,  but my brother bought a candle online that was leather scented not sure who made it but man was the scent overpowering.  It was a stronger smell than the stores i have been in that sell a ton of leather goods.  That candle turned me off the idea of a leather scented candle pretty fast.

I am almost sure that Candlewic has White liquid dye.

You may be able to call them & get first class Shipping instead of their ground price .

They don't carry white liquid dye anymore sadly.  I can use powdered dye tho which should work fine when mixed with the fo.

It looks like mottling wax...perhaps one of the true pros will come along to verify?

I am no expert but i agree with Hopie it looks like mottling wax to me as well.  I have seen alot of pillars like those online where they are using mottling wax.  I can't be 100% sure tho as i don't use paraffin wax, I only use palm.

I can't see it but know exactly which video you are talking about.

To be quite honest, I just assumed that all package carriers treat their packages this way. (Not every single package, but a a lot of packages, in every package delivery company there is)

I know several people (even dated a couple) who drive or have driven for UPS, and every single one of them flat out say if the box is stamped "FRAGILE" or "Handle with care" or anything stating to be extra careful/cautious on it, they purposely rough-house it to see exactly how "fragile" it is.

Ever since I got told that I NEVER mark my packages with anything that isn't otherwise required by law.

Wow sadly that does not really surprise me at all.

OR as is typical with stuff you find on the internet, they had no intentions of using an overpour. I never trust that people are going to do what we actually expect them to do when it comes to finding stuff online. LOL

I just wanted to point out to anyone who wanted to do this, that if they did it exactly like the pic shows, it's going to not burn right. And if you use an overpour, it defeats the purpose of wondering what the tarts look like because they will be covered, so what would it matter?

That is so true.  I forget some people on the internet don't always use common sense.  Some of the candles on etsy and ebay are proof of that.

To me, it looks like a very typical paraffin wax that you would pour very cool (same way you would to get the rustic look of pillars) - I honestly don't think it is any other type of wax.

However, I would not just place them in a tureen loose like that with a wick. That is asking for trouble and IMO there is no way it would burn right. The gaps and air wold make the candles/flame go out. You would need some sort of overpour, which would then cover all the tarts.

Personally I love it and think it looks great, however, I would not sell something like this as it also looks very unsafe to burn, and the average consumer might just light it up!

Place them in the tureen without the wick, and then you can sell as a tart set, or a wickless that they can put on an electric burner to melt the wax down.

Lol at first i thought the same thing but then i realized that was a picture before they poured plain white wax in to fill up all the open areas in the jar with wax.

That's a good question about the word "net". Could you put something like:  Approx. 2.7 oz by wgt.  or  ~2.7 oz. by wgt. ?  Since we can't be as exact as the factories, how DO we label it and be as honest and legitimate as possible? This is something I overlooked but need to know about. What is the right way to do it for not only soap but candles too?  By the way, I like the brand name at the top. That's really what I want them to remember.

Personally i would use approx 2.7oz.  due to variations in the weight.  It keeps people from getting upset if they find out it was slightly underweight.

I am a night owl Trappeur.  It is rare for me to be in bed before 2 am.  I used to work years ago at both Pizza Hut and Walmart and had the evening shift at both places so i would get home anywhere between 11 pm and 2 am and would stay up for a few hours to wind down from work.  Never really broke that habit at i was no longer working there.

It looks nice.  Should the word "net" be added to the weight?

One thing I wonder about is the placement of "Wimberley Wix" line at the top and the scent name at the bottom.  The company name is already on the tag at the top, so it seems perhaps that the scent name should take top placement on the label ...???

I think the placement of "Wimberley Wix" is perfect on the label.  Mainly cause the tag will end up being removed or if sold in a store possibly come off before someone buys it.  I feel having a company name at the top is always the best place seeing as when looking at a label the top is where you end up seeing first most of the time.  So it makes it easier for people to recognize who it is putting out the product.

Like everything tho this is just my personal opinion and the reasoning behind it.

I just found it on the internet Sarah, just a picture....It almost looks like paraffin and the wax frosted....doesn't it....Geesh, I don't know.  I just know I liked it...It almost looks opaque...

I wonder if they could have added something like dazzle dust from RE.  They claim it can give a frosted look in candles.

  12. I just found whitener powdered dye on BC.  That gives me a good option to look at.  I also need to find something that will give me a true black as alot of people complain that black dye end up more gray than black..  I am looking for all this before i order anything as i want to be able to order everything all in one day so it get here around the same time.

That's not something I usually purchase, but I believe RE has a large selection of liquid dyes, and BC as well. When I make my ornies, I mix a little mica in with the FO for the color, and it always turns out beautiful. But I have a large supply of mica for soap making, so that is the more convenient option for me. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful!

Hey if that works i am open to the idea.  I would need to order some liquid dyes anyways so if need be i can always get some of that as well.  Sadly right now i only have a few dye chips i bought a while back when i got into candle making.  Never messed with liquid.  Just figured liquid would give me a more consistent color that guessing on dye chips.  Not to mention i dont think my dye would work for aroma beads anyways as I wouldn't be melting the dye.

This is the same results I got with beads from Aztec. I am going to purchase my beads from Plastics4fun & see what results I get .I know earlier here someone posted she had good luck with their premium beads. The price is great & free ship under 250lbs . I think I will go for the 10 lbs for $29 free ship.

This co. also offers 5 lbs for $19 ,along with free shipping. I cannot find a better deal than this from any place online.

I will let you know my results .

I hope these work out ,as I get many request for car freshners & no way would I even give away the last batch I made, beads literally falling out from the center. I had to throw these to the trash . It is a waste of our time & money .

Looking forward to hearing how they beads work out for you.

  15. I am thinking about trying to make some aroma bead ornies.  Does anyone know of a place that sells a white liquid candle dye.  I am wanting to make an ornie that requires the use of white to make it look correct but am having issues finding something that will give me a white bead when i am done adding the fragrance.  Any help/suggestions are appreciated.

    I don't either.

I put it out in the kitchen again today just to see what would happen and it's perfectly fine. No more leaks, seepage, nothing. Who the heck knows what happened.

Maybe I dreamt the whole thing! HAHA

I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't one of those 1 in a million type things that you will never see again.  Lets hope it was an extremely rare issue that we don't run into again.
