Nice! I like the streaks and the top on it looks good. What's the benefits of the combined clays or were they for color?
Nice minty green! What green did you use for that if I may ask?
Color for the FCG is chromium oxide moss green from MMS
The clays in the RM soap are great for oily skin, my sister uses this bar exclusively on her oily skin and I like the colors, the last batch I made was with the green clay only

got the molds at the $1 store last year, they are really ice cube molds. Of course, I don't buy kitchen items to use in the kitchen!
I am so happy with how stable the slices, they are not wobbly at all, part of the slices that are in the soap got melty and congelled (sp) with the soap, my entire lower level smells like LM just from 3 slices being down here

Hey it is not coming up for me...I want to see

very nice, love the color, bet is smells delish

Ok, had to come up with something cool for this fragrance, I love it, smells like the real thing, it is Lime Margarita fros Sweetcakes, soaped very nicely, I was thinking about adding course sea salt but was out of plain only had fragranced, then I remembered these cool silicone molds I had, so I made glycerin lime slices and put on the soap while gelling. I love this one. This was just made last night and cut this morning, used a 40% lye solution and was ready to cut this morning...Has not been cleaned up or trimmed
Thanks for looking

I want to put a glycerin lime slice on my cp soap, just on top of each piece, will it melt if I put on on while gelling?

Thought I would post a few things since it has been awhile...
1st is Fresh Cut Grass by Natures Garden, this is a very good seller for me, I had not made it for awhile and forgot how wonderful this fragrance soaps. Added silk fibers and superfatted with unrefined shea butter, also added ground comfey. It smells so good

2nd one is Rosemary & Peppermint EO, this is one I originally made last year but was not at all happy with my blend, I finally got it to smell like the Aveda shampoo I am in love with...YUMMY, this is swirled with Morroccan Red Clay and French Green Clay, swirls look good on top but did not go all the way through, this recipe includes the silk fibers and unrefined shea as well___I am in love with this soap, very rewarding to work on the blend and get what I wanted. I am going to get a slab mold to make this one in next time for a prettier swirl effect

Thanks for looking

Your site looks very nice so far...How in the heck did you get google to list you? They are usually very hard to get
-
MMS has it the cheapest I have seen if you buy it by the gallon, which I do anyway, I think itis $5 something a # in bulk

Yes, SS friendly, www.thebodybarsoaps.com

Love the parsley...I made a soap last year with parsley but over time it discolored to a very light yellowish/green, can you repost later (that is if you even have any left:D) with color results?
I can smell it from here! UM

I offer 4 oz, 8 oz, 12 oz, 16 oz, 24 oz and 32 oz. The 32 oz I gear more toward boutique, they can sell it by the scoop, etc. But for my 32 oz I usually charge $54.99. I get the shea at a very good price so I try to price it accordingly. All trades and orders are going out tomorrow:)
Everito, it is such a wonderful feeling to make your own products and know what's inside! I love it. I highly suggest branching out from the candles and making something special, I am sure your wife would love a surprise:cheesy2:
Ok, now it makes more sense to me, the 32 ozers going to spas etc. Thanks
-
I usually put my "REJECTS" in their own jar and sell them for $2.00 instead of $3.50 and put right on the jar "BATH BOMB REJECTS", people always laugh at the sign and they buy them also.
I really don't think a few minor cracks matters, mine are usually defected more than what you are probably talking about
-
It looks great...can't wait to smell and use the soap...just out of curiousity how much are you going to charge for 32 oz. of shea? I sell my 2 oz shea butters for $10, If it were me I would offer smaller jars of shea.

I personally don't like the boxes, just not my style but their marketing is obviously working for them. I will have to say they are "interesting" looking.
Now, what really bothers me is that so many products become popular just because Oprah said it is good. People put way to much weight into what she says. She has more pull than GOD with her followers.
Just something that bothers me, I wish people would think for themselves and not look so much for famous people to tell them what they should like, buy or think is cool.
Ok, off my soap box!!!! Off to watch Oprah:laugh2::laugh2:J/K

I love your site...love the top pic with the candles on the shelf...very pottery barnish...I to think you should be able to see a bigger pic when you click on containers, other than that I don't like critiquing (sp) sites for grammar etc, but I do love looking at the products and pics, can't wait to see your other products once listed...Congrats and good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hmmm...my Angel smells very earthy, I do not pick-up any fruit notes, definitely smell the chocolate and Patch in it, I did get my sister's real Angel and it smells pretty much dead on the original...oh wel, I was just curious, you soaps are gorgeous
Edited to add my a lot of my customers also comment on my Angel smelling very clean, but I don't get that at all, just earthy LOL
-
Does that soap smell anything like Theirry Muglers "Angel", there is a lot of Patchouli, chocolate and Vanilla in that one. At my last show a guy asked about your combo but then I let him smell the Angel and he said "thats it".
-
Love it...what do you use for packaging?
-
MMS has a graet selection of clays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Very impressive site! The only thing I found that I would include is the size of the paint can candles. As a customer, I would want to know how many ounces and the burn time. Again, very well done!
Love how you made your products and candles unique to you
