  1. Hi Hon, try papermart.com. They have muslim bags for a really good price. HTH.
  2. www.acandleco.com They have some really good prices. (what is he doing ->:tiptoe: )
  3. Thank you so much. This is exactly what I was looking for.
  4. For the life of me I can not remember where I located some table spinner racks. I know that I can get them from dollardays, but I thought there was somewhere less expensive. Can anyone help me? Thanks.
  5. Hi Anna, what I would do is, figure out how much a case of candle would cost and then maybe give them 10% off of the total. For instance, if you can fit 10 candles in a case, that would be $100 dollars - 10% = $90. Or just charge them for the full amount. This is a personal opinion I think. But I would give a small discount for them ordering so many at once. HTH. Dawn:D
  6. Aren't hubbies just great? :rolleyes2 Those are beautiful, what scent are they?
  7. Andrea I would be very interested in knowing this too, great question. This is something that my husband and I have considered doing. Thanks for asking this question.
  8. I have tried it both ways with pouring first and then placing the cutter into the wax and just pouring the wax into the cutters. They both worked, neither was easier then the other.
  9. Thanks again everyone. I did see if they float, they do, but just barely (they are a little too heavy I think. Maybe making them a little thinner like Donita they would be fine as floaters. And I love the simplicity and easiness of them. Donita I did think about trying different shapes, like Christmas trees and maybe some pumpkins. Do you think that the plastic cookie cutters would hold up against the heat of the wax? They are so much cheaper. Thanks again.
  10. Thanks Paulette, I'll have to try that. I was trying to figure away around that. I haven't checked to see if they float. I'll have to do that when I get home. Thanks guys.
  11. Nice! So how'd you do it? Thanks everyone, the hardest part of getting them out of the cookie cutters, but I placed the cutters onto a round cookie sheet that I had (I was able to fit 4 of them on there) then I just poured the wax into the cutters (there was a little bit of leakage, but once it cooled alittle it was fine), then I just filled the cookie cutters up, waited for it to cool a little and placed the wick in them. Once they were completely cooled (which is really important, especially with the butterfly, because it will break apart) I lifted them out and pulled them out of the cutters. basically punched a whole the rest of the way through, but a wick with the tab in it and ta-da!!!!
  12. Okay so I did it. I asked a couple of days ago about these and let me tell you it was a pain, but thanks to candleman I did it.
  13. THANKS!!!!!!!!!! I will definately try this when I get home.
  14. LOL!! Yeah, I figured it would get messy, but thought I'd try. I'll let you know how it goes. I have a couple of ideas.
  15. Okay question. Has anyone ever used a metal cookie cutter as a mold? If so, how do you keep the wax from seeping out from under the cookie cutter. I really want to try and make a butterfly candle (but I can't find a mold...I have googled myself silly. ) I am going to try it when I get home, but figured I'd ask first and maybe see if I can get some pointers if anyone has tried. TIA.
  16. Hi Angela, 1st thanks again everyone. Regarding the shopping cart. I was on the phone with go daddy for it seems like forever. There isn't a way to incorporate the shopping cart exept to do it that way. Or I could put a link on the photos (hey, I didn't think of that) i thin I will try that. And Michi I have been playing around with it to get my candles or BB page up before the ..and more page. Thanks so much guys. It is so much better to have other eyes looking at this.
  17. Thank you all so much. I really appreciate everything. When I get home I will go and correct the spelling errors. Apparently their spell checker doesn't work as well as it should (????) Thanks again everyone. I will have to try and figure out how to make the Logo bigger (I thought that it needed to come out a little more also, but couldn't seem to figure out how.). Thanks again.
  18. Okay I need honest opinions and any constructive critizism. (sp). Can you guys take a look at my site and tell me what you think. I can take it I have thick skin. Thanks everyone www.butterflykisskreations.net Dawn
  19. I use my co-workers as my testers and they usually like it so they tell others and I just come in to work and have orders waiting in my email. This is how I sell most of my product. I'm lucky enough to be apart of the craft fair this year at work. Everyone is so excited, I'm scared I won't have enough with me. :undecided
  20. Thaks for letting us know. My husband and I were there yesterday and saw them, but they were marked at $5.00. Can't wait till next week, hopefully they will be on sale here. They were really nice.
  21. Does anyone know where I can get promotional items, reasonable priced, where they may not have a minimum. Did that make sense? I am looking for a place where I can get custom made pens or key chains at a reasonable price and not have to purchase like 1000 at a time. Thanks everyone.
  22. I have been using these for my tarts as well and they smell as they did the day I put them in. HTH :smiley2:
  23. Well, I was trying to provide someone with some business on this board. Thanks Tracy. I did give her your info. Thanks again.
  24. http://www.myweddingfavors.com/newcakecandle1.html Is there anyone on this board who makes these? I have a friend who is interested in these for her wedding. I am not sure how many she is looking for yet, but she is interested in this type of candle. Thanks everyone.
