    Thanks. I wish I could make it myself. I really don't want to take a chance on it molding though. :undecided Guess I'll have to go with a base. Brambleberry and WSP have bases for this. Would it work if I just added more water to my lotion recipe when making lotion from scratch- like during the phase when the water is added? I don't want to ruin a whole batch if not, so I was hoping someone might have experience with this? Would it change the amount of preservative that would be necessary?

    I don't want a base. Does anyone have a recipe for this? I thought maybe I could just thin my lotion with distilled water, but I'm worried it might make it more susceptable to mold. Any ideas?

    I got it from the chemistrystore.com. I just went to their site and now I realize it's actually just a FO. I was confused though since it is part SOLID in the bottle, and turns oily when heated. It smells really good though!

    YES- you need to try! But don't over do it on the peppermint or it will be too burny-feeling. Just a few drops though is perfect- you'll love it i'm sure!

    Me and my hubby used an oil the other night in bed. It was simply Olive oil with a few drops of Peppermint oil. It was HEAVENLY ! Has anyone else tried Peppermint oil THERE???

    :undecided When making lotions with a preservative, how much do you use? Lets say it's 24 ounces of lotion. I hear people say to use 1%....but what does that mean? I guess I'm math-retarded, but how do I figure out how much is 1%? sorry this is real new to me!:embarasse I'm just not sure how to accurately measure that out.

    :undecided I made my first MP shea soap. I liked it ok but my friend said her bar fell apart in the shower- leaving a big ol mess everywhere and that it also felt like it made her body Waxy-feeling! My bar from the same batch didn't do that though. All I added was a tiny bit of FO. What went wrong here? It was from the scent shack. Thanks in advance for your replies!

    Hi. Do you have any idea what fragrance is used in Burt's Bees Apricot oil? It smells soooooo good. My apricot oil smells nothing like it though. Anyone familiar with this?
