  1. Has anyone had a issue using a Yankee Candle scent name that was trademarked? Does putting "type" after it really relieve any possible issues?
  2. Hey this is a good way to relieve some stress, what a fun wax!!!
  3. Yes, I have a business and I also checked into all the company's listed except the soap guild. None of them would cover candle making. I will check into the soap guild tomorrow. How much is a membership? I also read where if you private label which we are doing then you have to contact Veracity Insurance and it cost extra.
  4. Hi, I know there is a Topic discussing this in Business Side of things but they all told me no Insurance available If I make my own candles. Can anyone please tell me who they use for this? Thanks in advance.
  5. I just bought some 4625 for the first time, how in the heck do you cut this stuff? It's like concrete!!
  6. I think NG is ok but no comparison to Yankees
  7. I just bought several samples from them, here is the list. Its only been three days of cure time but I had to try some, so far very disappointed. Wax is a Parrifin Soy blend, I even did them at 12% because I could tell they were weak just sniff from the bottle. Maybe they will get stronger in a few days but usually that doesn.t happen but just a little. Christmas Tree Farm-Very chemical smell didnt like Volcano-Haven't tried yet but smells pretty close to the real thing but weak, and I do have the real candles. Fresh Cut Christmas Tree-Smells very good but weak CozyCabin-Smells good but weak Christmas Splendor-Haven't tried, but smells ok, think I like the smell of NG better. Smell of Christmas.-Haven't tried but smells good so far, might be the best one.
  8. I thought the name would be fine but Im getting no sales on it.
  9. Any suggestions on a new name for this scent? Im not very creative with names.
  10. I can not find these any where except Candle Science, can someone direct me to another supplier of tins with feet?
  11. Can anyone tell me if they like this company and their scents? Unless Im wrong I cant find any phone number or email to contact them if there is an issue.
  12. You just have to be good at Photoshop unless you dont want any art work on the label. Otherwise I would buy one.
  13. I find labels to be my biggest issue with bringing new scents to market, I like to trial new scents in the marketplace but this requires new labels. I am not that large, so to order new labels is a pain because you have to layout so much money if you want to get them at a decent price. I have tried printing my own but just am not happy with the quality. Can anyone else shed light on how they deal with labels?

  15. I still can't find a good DUP of this fragrance. Anyone else have any luck?
  16. It is possible to use 3oz per pound, may not be necessary though
  17. I have added 464 to 6006 and I do think it gives it better CT but I dont notice a difference on HT. Has anyone else noticed this?
  18. I have had a special request from a customer and I have put 18% in 6006 and no problem with seepage, to my surprise it seems to hold it just fine. How come nobody seems to use 6006 straight?
