I ordered a pound of patchouli. It is awesome FO and 20% off makes it a reasonable deal.

Does anyone know if Peaks (Keystone) Asian Sandalwood FO is phthalate-free? I reached out to Keystone but they said they wont have that info for several weeks.

I called them at 5:00 but they close at 4:00. I'll call them tomorrow and just come right out and ask if they have some of Tennessee's.
I would think personally when a company does buy out another company it would behouve them to be honest and say either yes or no.
They only stand to bring in more business to their company for people who would come to their site and buy the oils plus you know it is only going to bring them more business to sell their own supplies and oils. That is the way I look at it. Correct me if I am wrong. It would be a win win situation for them.

Will be interesting to compare lots and textures. It "could" just be the flakes are super fresh and need time to cure/age. But I have never heard of that.... I need to order another 4 cases myself and will be happy when it all settles down.
Looking forward to smelling my candles again! Time is a wasting.
I will let you know I pick them up Friday.

do you sell direct only or do you sell wholesale (sitting on shelves etc).
Because inevitably wet spots will show up on any clear glass containers. Its unavoidable because of temperature changes which is out of your control.
As long as mine look when making them myself, I dont care once they change hands because nothing I can do.
Also.. I didn't really have big issues with wet spots with this blend. You have to really control the cure temp and let it cool as slowly as possibly. I do not have issues when donig that. But again.. its mostly soy, so will be undependable.
Haven't even started selling yet. I tried everything but could find no repeatable method to get the look I was going for.

You talking about some frosting or actual adhesion problems with wetspots, etc?
I stopped worry about wetspots a while back. I can control them darn near perfectly and have ZERO wetspots. But as soon they start moving, shipping, going to store shelves, etc... they will eventually show up anyway because of temperature changes. So I stopped worry about it. If they happen, they happen. If not... cool.
Wet spots and pulling away from the bottom of the glass. It created an very undesirable look in the tumbler glasses I use. In tins this mix is perfect.

My favorites with that wax combo were LX and RRD, however I no longer use that combo due to glass adhesion issues that I just couldn't deal with.

Thank you for the tip I will reach out to Daystar. Email sent, fingers crossed.

Thats probably what I will have to do. I was hoping to find some of the original so I could find out how to have it duped.

anybody have a suggestion?
-
The search continues....
Lemon Pucker (BCN) - OOB very nice, have not put it in wax yet, but is seems like it is missing that something extra I am looking for.
Lemon Verbena (TFC) - Very nice and strong, great CT and HT, not quite what I am looking for for this one but will find a home I'm sure.
Iced Lemon Biscotti (AH/RE) - Very true to the name good HT, but too much biscotti and no creamy, milky note that I am looking for.

I have read that there Green Tea FO is amazing, however I haven't tried it yet.

Also try the box marked "Please Select" and you should see usps flat rate option

Where do you live? In the shopping cart there is a dropdown box for shipping, select more carriers and choose usps. I get flat rate envelope for $7.15. to Ohio. And you should just buy a pound I did and I was not disappointed.

if no one here knows, you could call IGI.

Well the best in what regards? I know that I absolutely love Leber's F&M II, but my pocketbook doesn't adore it. That all said, I think it was Candybee who directed us toward Candle Science and we like it for what we do with it.
I guess by best I mean best overall performance in candles (hot throw, cold throw, trueness of scent, etc.), price is also a fector, but I would be willing to pay more for a superior product but only if there was no other option. I will check out lebur's and see how it compares to CS. I'am also going to get samples from Candle Cocoon, Millcreek, The Flaming candle and filmore.
