  1. Okay, you guys made me order these darn dyes. lol Have a question though...I ordered two of the kits on the 12th and other than the initial email containing my sales invoice I have heard nothing. Is this normal?

It's always been a peeve of mine when suppliers don't communicate. I'm not talking about a phone call...a simple email notification will do. If this is typical (as I suspect it may be) I cannot imagine incorporating their products into my line. Reliability, communication and promptness are important to me. Anyone else feel this way?

  2. Yes. I asked to speak to the owner and they said that he is not going to speak to me. So I dont even know if he knows about this situatoion. She is now trying to back paddle and see what she can do to amke me happy. I asked to speak to the owner and she told me no. The company is BCN

You need to email the owner. I find it hard to believe that Doneen or Rich wouldn't try to make things right. If you want Doneen's company email addy, send me a PM.

  3. Palm is a very hard and brittle wax and airpockets are very common. If you poke relief holes in it, you really need to do it when it starts getting a shell on the top and keep them open until they are cooled. I always just fill the relief holes and let it run over a bit, just to the edge.

Agree completely. In my experience it is rare to not see air pockets in palm votives. If you don't poke relief holes you will find that your candle "craters" when burned.

  4. Hey Landa. I have the Brambleberry 18 bar slab mold. The volume of that mold is 117 fl oz.

Most of what I consider to be decent/long lasting slab molds are rather pricey. My experience with both Upland and BB slabs have convinced me that sometimes you do indeed get what you pay for. They are both great molds.
