  1. I am looking for some soap storing ideas......

    Do U guys have picts of how you store your soaps...I need to figure something out...The only problem with storing in my house is alot of dust...I can dust everyday and it comes rightback,.....SOOOO I need a way to protect the soaps while curing and storing from dust!

  2. Thanks U guys! U ave made my week! The bars are starting to harden! This is sooooo cool.....As my test batch..I was playing with cutting and made like 4 soap balls with the scraps! This is fun.......

    I though wax paper and freezer paper was the same!! I have never used freezer paper!! LOL.....:P welllll Now I know Don't I!!!

  5. My First Cp Soap! It is scented sweet pea!!! Thank You Cindy For helping Me!!

    Now, I am not sure what is normal..But..Trying to get this soap Out of the mold was hard!!! It seemed to bond to the wax paper..did I pour to early?

    and it is wicked soft!!!!!!!!

    Not Very neat looking...But ..It came out ok...ANy ideas about how to keep soap from Bonding with the wax paper? or should I use something other then wax paper?

  6. Thanks To CindyM who walked me thru my first batch of Cp..and GrumpyGirl, who Gave me advice when I asked..Now not wanting to be a pest to everyone! I have a few Basic questions...

    Are people against using lard in soaps to sell?

    What is super fatting???

    What does water discount mean?

    and last but not least..what does everyone Use to color Cp? And where can i get some..I live in new England Noo any suppliers close?

    TIA!! I love looking and reading here..And Most of the time I don't know what to post! I got My first cp under my belt and I am very excited!!! I will post picts after the soap comes out of the mold and is cut!!

  7. LOL!!!!!! Nope no spare cash here....Our set up display cost us about ummmmmm $$400.00 the rest is elbow greese...and we have been making candles for like 10 years..so we have alot of stock and a huge credit card to pay everyfall...I wish we has spare cash........we built this set up sooo maybe we could take the next step and become a small candle business....

    we are working on it!!! Ha! maybe someday..

Thanks for the advice...These are the last two muffin pans I am going to make sooooooo it is good...when i make muffins i never wholesale them only retail and sell them 4.50 each...and that normaly does it! ANd Luke U maybe new here but I still take everyons advice..I am a new person too..I like to hear different view points.. It is what makes my job that much easier...to gauge the interest and pricing.....anyway..Thank U all agian...I agree with you all on certain points...but i figure wat the hay if they don't sell at 40... then i can alway wrap them seperate and sell them that way right!! LOL
