  1. Thank you all for the responses on this wax. I don't have alot of time nor money to spend on testing a wax that is going to give me a fit. I guess Joy wax spoiled me rotten, because of all the waxes I've tried, I keep going back to it.

Anyone still using Joy wax? I haven't purchased a case of it in about 10 months now, but do remember having cracking and frosting issues with the last case that I did buy. Any in put on Joy that has been purchased more recently would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,,,Portia

  2. Thinking of trying a slab and was wondering if anyone has used it and what did you think? I have used Joy for years and loved it up until about 2 years ago. TIA Portia I'm going to school, but had some customers that just would'nt let me quit making some candles. Gets rid of my itch I guess.

  3. I sure wish I could make this one, we just this week started talking about moving back to Fuquay. We are currently in Maggie Valley.

We have to take my daughter to the NIH in Bethesda, MD this coming up weekend and that's about all the traveling we will be able to squeeze out this month. You guys have a blast and hope to meet you all at the next one. Portia

  4. I have been using this for several months now on my feather palm candles. This last order of paper that I've gotten, every attempt the ink ends up like bleeding. After it has been on the candle for several hours, the wording tends to look almost fuzzy/bleeding looking and I've had a couple of them to peel off. I sprayed it with 4-5 coats of sealer on each one before applying it and it still happens. Has anyone had this happen? TIA Portia

  5. I know someone had mentioned something about having to keep relighting their incense. I have searched everything in the archives but only found one question on incense. I am playing with a starter kit and I let them soak for 3 days (I just didn't have time to set them out to dry) and have let them air dry for 3 days and I have to keep relighting the sticks. The cones burn fantastic, but the sticks don't. Any suggestions,,,,TIA Portia

  6. Not sure if this will help ya, but when I seal mine, I seal it so that when I bring the arm of the sealer down it touches the side of my votive, but not enough so that it dents the votive. I also push the votive into the bag so that it is sitting snug against the already sealed side of the bag. HTH Portia
