I will have to take a pic of it for you it is pretty shallow but it still works pretty well
-
does you Ka have a bowl lift ?? Mine has the bowl lift so you can slip the water bath under it.
-
Seriously, I'd use the KA and just buy a second bowl. Stainless Steel doesn't transfer scent and is non-porus, and you can't hurt it. I use mine for BB, clean it up and use it to cook with. It looks as good as the day I bought it.
I'm glad you said that I was thinking Crap maybe I shouldn't be doing that !!
-
If I buy a little of something and decide to go ahead with it I usually charge what it will cost me to re-produce ...don't know if that helps you any but if I say bought one LB of shea butter for $6.00 but I would usually only pay $4.00 I figure my cost with the $4.00

I grew up in the land of Gold Canyon ...... I have had a pretty good expirience with them my cousin gives me like little 4oz jars all the time I think they are pretty good ;p
-
sorry I have to say it but everything ...... I really like the white peach !!

oooh I just made some 1oz and 2oz perfumes with the stuff should I lock my door ??

I think that it should be said that terms are often generational and reigonal. As a twenty something living in Arizona I would use the word Hispanic but I can tell you that some of my older family memebers in other parts of the country wouldn't use that term. I think that what matters is what context words are used in she was obviously trying to be thoughtful I really wonder sometimes if people don't think that there is predjudice and inequality simply because they are looking for it and waiting for it to happen. I think there are terms that would be offensive and I won't put them here but I think we need to relax after all people from America are Americans and people from Canada are Canadians ............... you see where I am going with this.

you can always order exactly what you want from somewher else and pay for it. I think it looks good. I think getting mad about it is about the same as someone getting mad because they don't like the fragrance of a soap you gave them for free ....

any of the Grace oils at scent works will set you wallet back a bit they run about $35 a lb but I have people that think they are dead on
-
oooh thats one of my favorites ..... It looks amazing
-
Idon't know but I always melt it and have never had a probelm with it I don't know where I got the idea from ......when you melt it it gets a lot like MP soap
-
I LOVE the stuff if anyone has any they would like to get rid I could use a few more LBS
I have been making a scrub thats
1lb FBB
Sugar
2oz oil
color
FO
Liquipar Optima (sp?)
I just melt all the stuff besides the sugar put it in the kitchen aid and start adding sugar till it looks good ....... maybe the secret is getting it whipped really good ????????
-
I sort of tried that for one of the swaps and it sort of worked ...... I more got two tone bars though. I didn't play with the temperature to much though.

I can't even remember how many different recipes I have tried to get the right consistency. If it's not emulsified enough then it has a tendency to separate in the heat here (and I really don't like the oil floating on top) and if it's too thick then you can't scoop it out of the jar. I've tried various oils/butters, salts/sugars, adding soap/fbb. I thought I finally had the perfect recipe, poured it into jars, used it the next day and I loved it. By the third day it had hardened up to the point of needing a chisel to get it out of the jar. I thought about pouring it into a slab mold and cutting it into bars but I'm not sure how they would hold up. There is a couple that sell it at the local flea market and people are lined up to buy it at $12.00 for a small jar ( looks like 6 oz ). It's made with dead sea salt and sweet almond oil and such a small amount of fo that you can't really smell it. The husband has a container of water, big bowl and paper towels. As you walk buy he offers you the chance to try it. He lets you pick out the sample, he scoops a small amount into your hand, tells you to rub it in real well, hold your hands over the bowl and he pours water over your hands, gives you a paper towel to dry with and almost every single person ends up buying a jar. It's the only product they sell and there is always a crowd in front of their booth. If I had a license to sell cosmetics ( all products here including soap are considered cosmetic:mad: )
then I would definitely want someone standing there doing nothing except getting peeps to try sample.
gonna sell some FBB scrub at the next show I do maybe I should try this what does he do with the water ?? it seems like you would go through alot of water ....
-
I think it grows on you it didn't rock my world the first time I tried it but now I like it.
-
I'm gonna go look at the Dollar Tree in the morning if they have them there I will get them from there otherwise I think we could make the minimum somewhere.
-
