Do you guys think I should go with a wine smell I was thinking maybe complimenatry scents would be better. I might e-mail the lady that asked me for the samples and see what they are looking for.

I was ona website that said to use wilton food coloring gel. This works pretty well but you have to use water because it diesn't dissolve in oil. I was also wondering if you use the gel are they still ok for resale ?

I too have used the red stuf from walmart with out a problem but sometimes they get bad stuff.

P.S. you should ask for a kitchen aid for Christmas I got mine last year and love it.

I used an Icewater bath too, kinda my mixer has a bowl lift so I slipped a pan under the bowl amd filled it with Icewater. I have made two batches one came out a really good and fluffy for that one i just used shea oil and shea butter. I made a second one using ako and cornstarch also and that one came out a lot harder. I found for both of them that they really didn't increase in volume. Do you guys see an increase in volume ? I think thats what made me think I didn't whip it enough.

I am using the chrismas ornaments and when I put the two halves together and put some mixture inbetween I can't get them out of the mold with out the two halves splitting what am I doing wrong ??

I was wondering how long everyone whips their shea butter? I have a large capacity Kitchen aid mixer and it only seems to take about 20mins. I am wondering if I kept going if it would get any lighter? I have seen websites that sell whipped shea that say they are whipped for up to two hours !!

Hi, I'm a college student too. I deliver pizza you can make really good $$ doing it enough to pay for the addiction your probably about to pick up. I also use to be a baloon artist. If you live in a big town this is a totally cool gig. You make your own hours and can make a ton of money I did this in High School (like 8 or 9 years ago) and made $75-$125 for a three hour shift. I started a buisness doing all this when I was about 20 have been working it on and off for the last five years and it still by no means makes enough to pay the bills. but my goal is after college to really work at it. - if you want more info on the balloon thing pm me.

I wouldn't get to upset I had a buisness partner go psycho on me though so I know how you feel. She ended up going belly up with out me, and yes that did make me feel a little better. I think that mayby you could offer the lady that wanted to host a party a sample. That should solve the problem!! I think in the end your co-workers will look very foolish.
