  1. I ordered quite many fragrances from them, it was my first fragrance order alltogether and not a very experienced choice. I started to try them out, but was not too happy with the results - their vanilla and juniper were good though, but many others didn't have a good cold throw and had even weaker hot throw. I used ultra concentrate in 100% soy. I guess sos grade fragrances are even weaker.. As the first experiences vere not very good I haven't tried all of the ones I ordered out - maybe there are some good ones more besides juniper and vanilla... and now with a more experienced eye I look at their prices... They are high!!
  2. BCN has a great creme brulee in my opinion. Great throw both cold & hot (in 100% soy) I just ordered a sample from JS also, but have not yet received it.
  3. Thanks! I guess I will also give JS a try, especially as they are having a nice sale at the moment on their holiday scents.
  4. Hi all, I have only tried BCN's spiced cranberry. How would you compare JS's cranberry spice to this? Do they smell the same? BCN is nice and has a good throw(I use 100% soy), but is a bit too sweet to my taste. Thanks!
  5. Hi all, does any of you have experiences with Madison Fragrance FOs? Do they work in soy and how would you rate them? Thanks, Eva
  6. Thanks, the scents were vanilla + orange and lilac with a hint of vanilla and musk (I mixed them myself) The lilac mixture is better, but still, when you stand above it, there is a weird undertone to the smell... can't quite explain it...:embarasse
  7. Hello everybody, I am new to candlemaking and this forum, so I hope this message goes to the right board.. as said I started experimenting with candles last weekend and I am quite excited - I am making pure soy wax container candles and after a week of testing the last ones have turned out pretty nice. The first ones were terrible... but I have to thank this forum, I read the past messages and got help - now the wet spots are almost gone (the containers in the oven trick) and the top cracking is managable with a blow-dryer... So thanks! But now I have a question about FOs - I ordered them from Save on Scents - I haven't seen anyone mention this supplier in this forum.. Has anyone used their scents? They seem to be ok, but not too good hot throw and it smells kind of "medicine like" when burning...:embarasse I have tried out a couple of FOs so far (burned them) - waiting for the soy to cure as learned here with the rest... but the first impressions are not the best ones, I was hoping for more... I read people praising Peaks and Natures Garden, etc. - but they don't ship internationally:( (I live in Estonia) Any advice? Thanks, Eva
