Hi, I am brand new to B&B except for a few bath bombs I have made, any way I ordered the bases from linsey the shea lotion base and the seha/job lip balm, and had a few questions if you don't mind. First when I mix the lotion base with water and add the scent what is the best way to get it into containers with the pump? Also, can you use the lip balm base in pots or not? Any other helpful info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!!! Valerie

Hi, Well here is my bargain, A lady was getting out of the business and had a commercial wax melter, about 600 lbs of wax, and yes the kind I can use, about 300 molds and much much more and I paid 500.00 for all of it, the melter alone was worth over 1,000.00!!! Let's just say I was really excited!!!!!!!!! Valerie

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find the reed diffusers with a screw on wood cap with the metal on the inside, I would like to purchase it as a set I have some one requesting one like this and not sure where I can find them, I have found ones with the right caps but they do not screw on the just rest on and she wants them screwed on, was wondering if anyone knew where I could find that type, I know they are out there because she has one she got somewhere else I just have had no luck finding them.   8. Hi, Well I made my first ornies today and not sure if I can use them, I know it said to leave them a little bumpy and I accidently left them in the oven to long they look crystal clear, with no bumps are they useable or not? Thanks so much!!! Valerie
  9. Hi, Wish I had an answer for you I just started using this wax and am having the same issues, someone told me they used a large steak knife and eyeballed it, maybe someone with more advice will chime in here. Sorry I was not of any help! Valerie

Hi, Well I just measured the fo and 1 oz is about 2 1/2 Tbs. of oil so I added 4 more Tbs of beads I know it probably should be 6 but 4 looked like alot so I will just wait and see, and add more if I need to. It was really late when I made them and my baby was asleep in my room where my directions were and did not want to wake him, guess that's what i get for trying to remember off the top of my head, at least it is an easy fix!!! :smiley2: Valerie

  12. Hi, I was wondering what other of you thought. I used 4 tbs. of beads and 1oz of cherry coconut fo and mix about 2 days ago, they are still not even close to dry and alot of liquid on the bottom of the jar, thought maybe I should add more beads but was not sure how much to start with. Do you start at a teaspoon at a time or what do others of you do? Thanks so much!! Valerie
  13. Hi, I have one and I love it!!!!! After you use it for the first time and then let the wax harden in it I just poke several holes in it. Have never had a problem with it. Valerie

  15. Hi, I was wondering if any one had any suggestions on the best way to level a palm pillar, I heated up a pan in the oven and slid it across, and that did not seem to work, any suggestions would be great!! Valerie

Hi, So I found out that the astorlite fh is a palm wax, so i was wondering if anyone knew where i should start with wicking which type of wick would be best, I have not yet worked with this wax love the way the feathering looks on the outside! Oh, I am going to be making pillars with this was aprox. 3 in. in diameter. Thanks so much, Valerie
  20. Hi, I recently got some astorlite fh wax was wondering if anyone knew what kind of blend it was? I know its a soy if I am correct, but I can not seem to find much else about it, I also know that it was purchased from candle wic. Any advice on this wax would be great!! Thanks so much!! Valerie

Hi, I was wondering if anyone out there uses these and what your thoughts are on these.I read on a few sights that you can Only use reed diffuser oil that is especially made for them and a few other sights said that you could use your candle fo and use it 50/50 with the reed diffuser oil. Have not done any of these yet so I was wondering what other out there thought. My Step mom wants several and I want them to be very strong like the one she purchased some where else.
