Have you tried Peak Candles or Candle Soylutions?
I looked at Peaks and they are $10.68 a doz with lids. That works out to .89 each. Now Aztec had them for .43 each (5.20/12) without lids and I can't imagine that lids would be .46 each so right now Aztec is the cheapest.

Thanks, I'll check them out

I'm pricing these square mason jars and was wondering if anyone has suggestions other than WSP and Bittercreek? I'm in Florida so shipping is being taken into consideration. I'd like to buy a few cases. I don't have a tax ID so The Jar Store is out for me.

I'd like to get a good Pine FO that plays well with SOY for the holidays. I've printed off the list here of good ones and would like sniffies before I order.
Can anyone send me a sniffie of:
ISC SUGARED SPRUCE
BCN - MISTLETOE AND OH CHRISTMAS TREE
KY'S CHRISTMAS PAST
PEAKS CHRISTMAS SPRUCE
Thanks
Julia

I use it and love it. I've found that CD12 works in just about every FO that I've tried in the square mason jar.

ME ME ME ME :yay: :yay:

If anyone has about 10 they could sell me, please PM me. Thanks

They are small...they hold one square from the clamshells. They are really cute sitting on the counter in the kitchen though!
Well they are adorable. I'm going to be selling to a cafe and I think these would be perfect. Thanks for the pic!

They look pretty small compared to the clamshell.

OK, I know I've been out of the loop, but does anyone have any extra of these? I have GOT to get some

I love the Twinkle Toes and Fairy Dust at Candle Cocoon and was wondering if the "Twinkle" at Just Scent is comporable. Or is there another one out there that smells like that? TIA

What sells well for you, 6 or 8 oz? At Peak there's a difference of .18 in the 2 sizes so I'm thinking of going with the 6 oz.

Dixie cups for mixing my colors. And popsicle sticks like someone else mentioned.

ok, I am venturing into the land of body products....
What is the difference between hand lotion and hand cream?
I ordered Goat Milk & Honey Lotion, but not sure how I should package it. I did a search here and I am still confused. I have in stock right now are Hdpe cylinders. I ordered a couple pumps to test and I inserted the pump into the cylinder while the base was liquid and when I tried to pump nothing came out. I had to pound it on the counter to settle it then it worked..
question 1...should I wait to insert the pump into it after it re hardens?
2...what other bottles could I use?
3...which is better, pumps or Disc tops or something else
To me a lotion is more thin and in a bottle. A cream is thick and in a jar. The "top" is a personal preference. I prefer disc tops

CD 10 would be too small for the 8oz sq mason. You will need a 12-14 I am going to test the CD14 in the EL mill and the 444 alone and no mix and see how it does just for kicks and grins....I think I am going to use the IGI6006 and tins ONLY. :tiptoe:

I "think" I've got CD12. I'll try that if I have it

It still hasn't caught up! I've got wax on the sides after 4 burns. I may try a CD wick now. Maybe a CD10?

Do you mean malibu's? If so Elements used to have those
-
Julia! What happened to your Kelseis?
I still have them. I've got a 9 bar and 2 18 bar ones. But sometimes I just want to make something smaller, or a small log, and then I use boxes
-
I use the multi base from Cajun Candle Supplies. For a light lotion I add a gallon of water to 1# of base and can get something like 14 8 oz bottles.
-
Have you checked Elements? She usually has a nice assortment of bottles. I make mine in bullet style with a disc top.

It doesn't bother me a bit to pay $34 a lb at TSW because it works well for me in my CP soap and I love the smell of it.
I love the scent too, but $34 a lb? ouch!

I poured candles using both FBD and Tony's. They smelled exactly the same to my nose. I made CP soap about 3 weeks ago using Tony's and the fragrance continues getting stronger. My husband loves this scent and asked me to make something manly for a change. He knows it's curing on a rack on our dining room table...I told him hands off till it's cured 4 weeks.
