I looked back at them and yes they were for melts (I read it wrong) but I was going to try and make them in jar.
Will that help w/the adhesion to the glass? Do you know a good place to buy it? I bought the xcel from CS should I also get the pb from them?
-
Ok i have been reading some good posts about mixing Xcel w/pb.
I feel stupid*shudder* but does PB mean pillar soy mix?
I was looking at CS web site and saw both of them.
I have the CB xcel but I saw some posts that say it's good to mix
but is this what I buy?

This may be a crazy question but I was wondering if I want to make a votive can I use a 6" wick and cut it down to fit? Can this also be done for a floating candle?

:wave:Thank you so much Lizzy I'm going to order some today. What wax do you suggest to do tumblers in? Do I use steric or something? I am working w/palm but just wanted to change it up a little. How do you try and avoid "wet" spots? I'm excited to try. *super banana*
I have tried the praline pecan from "P" and OMG it is amazing

Hello I was wondering if someone could help me find where I could buy this jar.
Flint jar w/a gold metal lid. I saw this jar on line and I love it. I have been looking but not sure what kind of jar it is. This may be a very basic question and I'm sorry if it is.:embarasse Just wondering if I am just looking at it wrong.:embarasse
I'm sure someone probably does know (I'm still new to this) would you happen to know the best place to get them?
Thank you,
Suzan :smiley2:

I did flip it but Maybe not soon enough. I'm going to try again and see what happens.

Just a little question. Does anyone know why I get a line on top of container. It looks like 1 inch is lighter than the bottom. I am using gg palm in a tumbler jar. I pour at 190 and I don't stop so the top can't get cold enough to do that. The candle comes out very nice but seem to get this line:confused:. Any idea's would be great.
Thank you,
Suzan :smiley2:

I'm so sorry to hear about your bunny:cry2:.
I have a beardie also and he is such a good boy.
It's funny to watch the crazy things he does. He just started to wag his tail a lot it's weird He is 1.5 yrs old. My husband put a piece of lettuce on his head to see how long he would keep it there. I made him take it off after 5min. of feeling sorry for him.

these are my 1st attempt on pillars let alone marbled (Thanks to Candlelvr<sorry probably spelled wrong> for her help):rolleyes2 . the blue is the 1st, the cinnamon colored 1 with the blue was 2nd attempt, 3rd attempt is the other cinnamon one & the orange one is my last attempt. i like the 2nd attempt but still too many holes but getting better. none of them are scented.

I know it's been quite a while since this post but I just had to say these are sooo beautiful. I wanted to know how they burned for you. You say there are holes but I see nothing except awesomeness (if that's a word).:highfive:
I also was wondering if you could tell me how you did it? I have never made a pillar but these are inspiring me to try.
Hope to hear from you soon

I have been thinking about trying wood wicks, however, I read a thread that say's it could be a patent problem when selling them. I don't want to get caught up in any of that*shudder*.
I saw a site on etsay that has them and they don't say "wood wicks" but they say "wicks made of a soft wood fiber"
Do you think wording it like this keep's you out of trouble?
Any help would be great.
Thank you,
Suzan:D
