  1. I just got a new wholesale acct today!! I have never sold my soaps anywhere but on my site and at craft shows and to reg. customers. I wanted to use Dan's bands but I dont have enough..so I am trying to come up with something else that looks nice. Please be honest and tell me what you think about the diff colored bands with my label. Thanks! Kris
  2. Thank you everyone for your input!! I guess gellin is my thing becauseI tried to make mt soap not gel and I got a partial gel now the soap looks like shicocky! Kris
  3. I have always gelled...but my raspberry tomato leaf from KY only gelled part way and looks funky in the centers of the bars
  4. Thanks mountainmadness.... I never force my soaps to gel...but they always do. So Im wondering ...how to make them not gel. Kris
  5. How many let their soaps gel?? and How many dont let their soaps gel?? If you dont let your soaps gel..how do you make them not gel, and whats the purpose of not letting them gel?? Thanks Kris

  8. Im looking to buy some FO called Rose by Sharon for a fund raiser....Scent It appears to be the only place that has this. Has anyone ever bought from them? and if so whats the quality of their oils and what did you use them in ?? Thanks Kris
  9. Thanks! I just found it there too! Is this the oil you used? May I ask what kind of wax you used? I use both CB and soy. Have you bought anyother FO from this company? I have never heard of them. Kris
  10. I am getting things together to do a fund raiser for a lady that has cancer. Her Name is Sharon and the lady that came to me about doing the fund raiser wants to know if I can find this oil. I have not had any luck. Anyone heard of this?? Thanks Kris

  12. Here is my rebatch of Mango Papaya.....This is from Peaks. I rebatched it and added some of Peaks Georgia Peach....and it smells delish!! Sorry my picture lighting isnt very good. ITs raining and over cast here and I usually take my pictures out side..but not today. Thanks for Looking Kris
  13. I rebatched my Mango Papaya last night. I put it in my crock pot on low and let it melt. I dont know if anyone else does a re-batch like this. But it was nice and easy for me. So I shredded my loaf of soap...put it in my crockpot and sprinkled with water...Once it was all melted I added more color and some Peaks Georgia Peach....and put it in my mold. I unmolded it this morning and cut and it looks and smells DELISH!!!

  19. Ihave a wedding coming up and the bride wants 4oz tin candles. Where would be the best place to buy these? Ihave checked a couple places but Im hoping ya'll know somewhere Ihavent thought of lol Kris
  20. I do think that the HP is more demanding...more stirring and fussing...BUT I liked watching the soap change before my eyes, and I like the texture of the soap with doing the HP. I also like the fact that I can mix my lye and water right then and there and pour it in..not having to be concerned about temps. I am going to make a few more batches today! LOL at the "Poppy Princess" Kris
  21. I was having fun yesterday trying different soaping processes. This was the first time I had ever tried these 2 diff processes. The first is Cool Citrus Basil then Macintosh Apple and Lilac. The Cool Citrus Basil and the Lilac are HP and the Macintosh Apple is CPOP. Thanks for looking!! Kris
