  1. Hey E... Anymore updates ....demonstrators, vender's , suppliers???

I checked the site and did not see any yet...:(

Would like to know the agenda before signing up...

    TIA!!!

Would love to see some great vendors....and a few more sponsors.

Will be keeping an eye on this. I think Philly is about 4 hrs from me here in NY.

There is a GREAT speaker that I heard at the NY Soapers Gathering last yr and she lives in PA. If you like I will get her info for you to contact her.

LOL...yes, you will all be relieved to know I may not be able to attend as my 20th HS Reunion may be scheduled around that time. But, I love going to conferences and meeting all you CT folks.

  2. OK ok ok...so what you are asking is something like does the production of the candles/soap get in the way of the biz? If that is the question then I am a big yes! Sometimes there are not enough hrs in the day.....and then sometimes I am just lazy!...lol

  3. I will have to try the Vodka and distilled for home. I have some cotton candy from MC that is pretty good and some bubblicious. I just don't want them to accidentally spray themselves in their eyes that is why maybe it is best not to use the KY because that stuff is high in alcohol I only use it because it dissapates faster than the cyclo. I literally was slipping on my wood floors after spraying it.

Then just do water, polysorbate 80, preservative and FO.

  4. Looks yummy. In my experience w/ whipped butters they hardened up to a week. So after having to (twice) take the butter out of jars to add more oil (to soften it to the consistence I wanted- personal preference which is different for everyone) I got smart. I would follow my recipe, then place a cover over the bowl and let it sit and room temp for a week. After a week or so I would add more oil and whip it if was too hard for my taste, if not I'd put it in jars. For me, I've never had a problem adding more oils and re-whipping. A great idea would be to keep track of how much more oil or butter you add for your starting point the next time you make this recipe. HTH :)

Did I mention how YUMMY this looks . I LUV it uncolored, it reminds me of buttercreme icing ;) !!!!

I have never had to rewhip.

  5. I don't know anything about this show so I can't comment either way, but I will say the Chicago show is well run, very very nice and you'll have lots of fun and get lots of goodies. It is a great show.
