How much time was taken for the testing of the new candle?

Is this new mold something he requested...or you suggested?

I personally would have tried to steer him in the path of my tried and true candle line, tell him that I would testthe new molds for him but in the meantime why not take the one I already have perfected.

I have the same printer. All Laser Toners have that tape stuff in them...you HAVE TO REMOVE IT BEFORE YOU CAN USE THE PRINTER. You didnt break anything.

I guess I am different here, I rarely look at other members websites...or other B&B websites. Its things like this that makes me scared to even finish my website.

BTW...Peak's BRV does not discolor. My soap is a creamy white.

I havent heard anything on this in over a month. I dont think I will be able to attend now as my 20th High School Reunion is scheduled for that weekend.

WOW...I am super busy in the summer months. I think my summer business with candles is because I live in a Tourist town and the name of the town is in my company name. I also supply the local spa with their Foot scrub and soak..tis pedicure season! And Salt Glows...oh man I cant keep up with those.

Do you have Wholesale accounts? Maybe try doing some home shows instead of festivals and such.

I would say it is because the corosivness of the lye and the chemical reaction it may have to the tin. But that is just a guess on my part.

I pour my shaving soap into 4oz low profile containers.

I bought a couple of the containers that that are empty...they didnt work as well IMO. The plastic they are made of is much more ridgid than the Detergent ones...and I had 3 of them leak like crazy on me...so I chucked those. BTW those were $8-$12ea...and if ya buy the Purex or one of the off brands they are like $6-$9 and ya got the detergent to boot!

You will have to rinse them out really really well. I fill it up and shake it several times...then let it fill to the topp and keep running over until you dont see bubles. I have Sanitizing tablets...dont remember where I got them...but I use one of those to Sterilize it. If ya dont have those...try swirling with alcohol a couple times then go back to the rinsing a few times.

Bet it smells great! But I am like you...dont like the looks of rebatched soap. But hey...if it smells good...they will buy it!

Not had any problems so far and the solution has been in there for about 5 months. Only have a little left so I will be mixing some more up.

I just wanted to share the way I store my oils for Soap and B&B. I use a mixture of different oils in my Salt Glow (HUGE seller for my Spa accounts) and I have one for my Olive Oil and Lye Solution.

This is just a Laundry Detergent Dispenser that has been cleaned and sanitized. I just keep these on the end of my work table and they are so handy!

I posted my Mechanics Soap a while back...has Fullers Earth, Kerosene, Pumice and Lemon EO.

FINALLY, the packaging is complete!!! Sketched out the "Grease Monkey" and sweetcam colored it in for me as I am horrible doing computer colorization.

I am sooooooooooooooooo happy with the way this turned out...and just in time for Fathers Day!!!

Once apon a time I used to make Jewelery out of 14kt and Sterling Silver Wire and Semi Precious stones.

I whipped this one up for the CT Benefit Box. This Ring would retail at $30 and takes me about 40min to make. Hope whoever gets the box likes it!

I have both and I like Peacock better.

I have to use waaay too much of the Select Shades to get the color I want.

I still prefer Micas:cheesy2:

VOTIVES ARE A PITA!!!!!!!!

I currently have 3 Accounts who order votives and I hate it. They sell like crazy in storefronts. I individually shrink wrap mine...which makes them even more of a pain!

I have never heard of that site and to me I would be a little leary of ording from a place that hasnt been tried. A lot of sheas can be really grainy. You get what you pay for..remember that.

Are you looking for Refined or Unrefined Shea? I use unrefined in soaps because quite frankly the smell is horrid! I use refined shea for my Whipped shea and lotions.

Oils By Nature is an awesome place for butters and Oils.

LOL...well some would not share your sentiment...lol But, meeting the folks from here has been a joy. Have met several that I consider my close friends...even though most of them live a long way from NY, we talk on a weekly basis.

It is my understanding that this event will be every other yr. So, they arent having one this yr.
