Where do I get can wicks from?

I have people requesting candles all the time that smell like cologne but, I am having a awful time trying to get a good hot throw with cologne type FO. I have tried many different ones to no avail. Right now I am trying Hollister SoCal type with 464 in a pint size mason jar with a cd 18 wick. I have also tried htp 1212, and rrd 47. I am wondering if I will never get a throw with these FO or if I just haven't found the right wick yet. I have some CB Excel I wonder if I would get a better throw with it? Any advice would be much appreciated. I am ready to pull my hair out over this one lol.

I would start with two cd 8 and go from there.

I have all different wicks zink, htp, cd, wi series, rrd's. The list goes on lol just wandered on a starting point so I could waste as little as possible

I am using paraffin 1239 wax. With a range of different scents. All have vybar in them and color. Just needing a starting point with wicks. The sphere is a 3" ball mold. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thank you.

Does anyone have a preferred company for wood wicks. I got some from Aztec and they keep drowning out. I am double wicking them like recommended but not happy with the outcome. TIA.

Well I have decided to go ahead and make soap or try to at least. I have everything I need except the lye (key ingredient I know) which I plan on getting within the next week or so. I have played with melt and pour some and while it is fun I am wanting to venture into cp soap. But I have heard horror stories from so many that tried and failed I am just wondering how hard it actually is to make cp. I had a cousin who was going to teach me but she moved about 8 hours away and we haven't ever been able to do it. Should I attend some classes before tackling this project? I already make candles and love it just wondering if I should stick to one hobby or add another. TIA for any advice.:embarasse:cheesy2:
