Make a glittery pillar candle? I have the glitter, but when I add it directly to the wax (did this for containers) it all settles on the top of the candle.
I'm interested in making pillars that are glittery on the sides and top.
Any thoughts?
TIA,

I read the post from a few months ago regarding crystal clear inkjet lables. Are ya'll talking about Averys labels?
I'm looking for crystal clear labels to put on tins, and Avery's were more frosted then clear.
Anyone have any suggestions?

That's what I was afraid of. Can't use regular gel tones cause there not edible, I don't think. Maybe I'll just leave the edible stuff white...

I was thinking about the food coloring and I have a ton of wilton cake and candy colors, but wasn't sure if they'd turn your skin a funny color.
What do you think?
Thanks,

How about peanut butter and melted chocolate Oh I kill me lol
Cindy, that's cute! Perfect day too, one of my consignment people just asked me to do that combination (I make candy too) as a spread for her shop.
I guess it could double:laugh2:

Hey Robin~I love this thread..I think I may take other peoples ideas for the upcoming weekends!
My goal is to organize my office. I have stacks of papers all over about 6 inches tall. Can't seem to get anything accomplished because I can never find anything!

I think it's fate...I'm in the process of using this recipe and come acrosss this post . (can you tell I have a stupid question?)
What I'm wondering is whether I can use BC's bath and body colorants with this? I want to start with Pink Sugar and Lilac, but want them to have some sort of color.
Any advice?
Thanks,
Sara

recipe? I have a friend on the phone looking for a Valentines Day gift for her boyfriend.
We were thinking about either an edible massage oil or an edible body paint, (with the edible body butter). (She's a little kinky-sorry;))
Any thoughts on good recipes?
Thanks,

Thanks all!
I'm glad it turned out ok, I was sooo scared. A couple of the pictures are crooked, but I still like it.
Big problem though....Now I want to make more:p
Thanks for the compliments!

I LOVE that shipping for the amount of stuff I ordered. Will definately shop there again.
And I discovered, (duh) that they have the jars I just ordered for my body butter, so now I can get it all from the same place.

ok, thanks. I just got concerned when I ordered 72 8 oz glass jars and 96 10 oz amber bottles and the shipping is only $21.00.
Thanks again,

Hey all,
Hoping you can help out really quick ~ I need to place an order with SKS Bottle and got a little confused reading their terms page.
Are shipping charges shown on your order or do they add them after?
Hopefully it's what's shown cause I kind of like that shipping price.
Any help would be great!
Thanks,

Hey Bunny,
To be 100% honest with you, I'd prefer the metal ones. In my mind they don't need to be pretty, they are to go under a lampshade, but I have a store that carries my candies who is picking up my candles, and she asked me if I could get them.
For some reason, she REALLY wants the ceramic. I tried to talk her out of it, but she's very set in her wishes.
Thanks for the concern and believe me, if I had a choice, I'd go for the metal ones.

The glass amber bottles with orifice reducer to package your F.O. or essential oil for air freshener? (I'd be using it with the ceramic light rings).
I'm just trying to get a feel on whether you can package the F.O. in them or will it start to eat away at the plastic dropper lining?
Any thoughts would be great!
Thanks,

Oh, I feel like a BIG idiot!
Yep, those are them, I didn't even think to check there. Must be having a brain lapse today.
Thanks Prudence!

Hoping you wiser folks can help me out...
I have someone asking me about the ceramic oil rings and while I have googles till I just want to shoot myself, all I keep coming up with is the brass and teracotta ones. Anyone ever come across the ceramic ones?
Any help would be great ~ I'm getting ready to throw my 'puter out the window!
Thanks bunches,

Hey~
I get the 4 oz tins from Best Containers and charge 4.25 for 4 for 16. I can't help with the other sizes, but I'm sure others will jump in and lend a hand.
HTH,
Sara

I thought it was something with my computer. Had to reformat my hard drive and all that good stuff, then couldn't get back on. Of course, I could get to different sites, but (I'm a little paranoid) and thought the computer gods were screwing with me again. Kept trying and finally called my dad in NJ and had him try....HE got on. I screamed "Oh thank god" and here we are!
YIPPIE!!!
