Reg
I don't know if this topic has been discussed in the past, but I thought it might be interesting to some. I made some lotion bars yesterday, and used baby food containers for molds, and since they have lids, that's where they are staying (no need to look for new packaging). I figured if I am making these for myself, or close friends, there is no need to get fancy, might as well get "green".And if you don't have babies, buy the sweet potatoes and just add a little to your pancake mix, you'll get a pleasing golden color and and some extra nutrition.(found some expired carrots - more molds!)Target and Walmart have their own brand baby food, and it comes in round containers. Denise2456
Well that is a cool idea for a mold. Wonder if soap could be put in them for sample size soaps? Thanks for sharing the idea.
CareBear
yes you can soap in them. individual molds won't typically gel, though, unless you add heat
