Scenting beeswax - the good and the bad

Recommended Posts

I did try a couple of searches and didn't come up with what I was looking for.

I'm going to be trying beeswax dipped tapers and am wondering if there are any really good recommendations for scents, and also any that I should steer clear of.

Thanks in advance for your help!

You can't go wrong with a good old cinnamon !   I've also used orange clove and they smelled wonderful :)
There are a few others I've wanted to try, but I'm afraid that I'd ruin a batch of beeswax :o

Dipping beeswax tapers takes a LOT of wax and scent. It ends up wasting a lot. For scented tapers I just melt and scent what I need and pour into taper molds.

Pretty much any scent goes with beeswax. I make at least 50 different ranging from floral, fruit, resin, incense, etc. they all do fine.
