Grimace Posted July 3, 2017 Share Posted July 3, 2017 I am not new to candle making. I have been making candles for over twenty years. But they are for religious use and are not scented. It is a family business started by my grandfather in the 60's and I am the third generation to go into it (not often you hear of a 3rd gen. candle maker). We had made scented candles 15 years ago but stopped because the market has just become inundated with product. Now I am trying to bring it back. A lot has changed in the scented industry in 15 years. New waxes, new wicks, scents out the whazoo, it's all very overwhelming. I have been looking over this site and have found some very useful information. I figure I might as well sign on, introduce myself, and see if I have any info to share with others.
