ladybug1 Posted October 4, 2015 Share Posted October 4, 2015 I'm using flaming candle company's 650 paraffin pillar wax, I made tarts in clamshell in brown, I did two pours, they look lighter brown in the center. than the outer edges, I cooled them in a warm room? what I'm I doing wrong? Belinda Posted October 4, 2015 Share Posted October 4, 2015 Maybe you didn't stir the dye in long enough? What temp are you adding FO and dye? I know if I don't add hot enough that sometimes I get things like that. Sometimes I even notice dye in the bottom of my pour pot that didn't incorporate well with the wax.
