CandleAddict_RN
I made a layered Palm wax candle yesterday and trying to figure out what kind/size wick to use for it. It is 3"D x 6.5"H. I have tried CSN wicks with shorter pillars but the ones I have are not long enough. This is what I have available either un-tabbed or tabbed that would be long enough to use.Flat Braid 21 Ply-Primed, 24 Ply-Unprimed, 30 Ply-Primed, & a roll that says 34-37 Ply-Primed. (Yes, I thought that was weird too, to have a range. I got this from a friend.) RRD 29 & 34 PrimedCD 16 & 18 Primed So what would your suggestion be???I also made a couple votives with the left over wax. I was thinking of CD's for those. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated. I have pretty much every wick available to use for those.
pcbrook
I don't make pillars (yet) but my experience with regular palm wax is if the CSNs don't work try RRDs. The two sizes you have is what I usually use for 3 inch jars.HTH
