polypropylene vs. cello bags

I normally use a 1.2 mil Cello Bag and double bag for my tarts...had a hard time getting them from my supplier so went and bought some polypropylene bags 1.5 ml. They are so different from my cello, not as crunchy and crisp..is this normal? I google searched and they are different, just wanted to double check. I made sure they were polypropylene. Thanks for your advice.
