ksranch
do you have to put the ingrediants on a free sample?? I know you do on your products for sale - and that's not a problem, but these little 1oz bottles are kinda tiny....ETA - And btw - TY to all who helped me through learning about lotion and body butter - I finally got my recipes down and am packaging my first batch this weekend! So exciting to expand!! TY!! Edited August 24, 2012 by ksranch
franu61
when I give out free samples at craft fairs I just list the ingredients on a sheet and place it near the samples..they can read whats in it before they try..but dont know about what we have to do legally
leisa2003
I think anything you give to someone even if free, is required to have ingredients. If I were you, I would type ingredients several times on some printer paper and cut them out and just have them in a basket to hand to them with the sample. Never can be to careful. jenn624
the only freebies I give out are 1oz soap samples, I do not list ingredients on these, just the name of the variety (sometimes, if they're lucky lol), most of the time the samples are nekkid
leisa2003
Legally you dont need ingredients on soaps,..but other things you do. I just prefer to put it on soaps as well,..you never know when a ingredient may cause irritation on someone.
ksranch
well I think I came up with an idea, even if it does cost me more packaging wise... I'll do a pic in the AM
Judy, USMC
well I think I came up with an idea, even if it does cost me more packaging wise... I'll do a pic in the AMWas hoping to see the pic. Sample sizes always need so much more thought.
