debratant
I have been wanting to try the mottling wax for containers. I was looking at Peaks IGI 2281 and was thinking of ordering a slab toplay with. Does this type of wax require 2 pours? I use 4627 formy containers...so have never experienced doing 2 pours before. Is this a good wax? Does anyone have a picture of a candle usingthis wax? If so I'd love to see one. I need more wax like I needanother hole in my head, but I have vision of a container and I wantit to mottle LOL.Thanks!
SteveinPA
I have never used that wax so I can't help you with that question, but have you considered trying 2530H from Candlewic? They're much closer to you and shipping will be alot cheaper. I bought several slabs of 2530 and I like it. I does require a repour. Here are some links to a few of my pics in the gallery:http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?91135-1st-mottled-container&highlight=http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?99135-Creations-from-yesterday&highlight=
glowworm
Candles and supplies has a couple of really nice straight paraffins that both mottle very nicely. They have great cold and hot throw as well. HTH
crazzie
What type of wick would you recommend for the 2530H Candlewic. CD?
debratant
Thanks Steve...very nice mottle...that's what I'm looking for! The reason I was going toorder from Peaks is because they also have the 4oz glass boston rounds that I want for myreed diffusors. I will check out candlewic to see if they have them.
