lmc
In a 16 oz canning jar with C3, I use a CDN16, however I wish flame was a tad more but CDN18 is just too much AND the suppliers that carry them I just dont use any other products from them so it makes it quite expensive to just order 1 set of wicks...so my question is since CDs are available from a supplier I use quite often, would a CD18 give me the burn Im looking for (between a CDN16-18) or is the CD16 equal to the CDN16? I realize CDNs are specially treated for soy, but if the 2 are very similar it would save me quite a bit in shipping...tia
Stella1952
Sure CDs will work! The treatment appliedd to CDNs is arguably more applicable to palm wax than it is to soy. The wicking is very similar, since, after all, the wicks are identical except for the treatment soaked into CDNs. Try both CD 16 & CD 18 to see which one works best for you.
