mbaldwin Posted January 16, 2012 Share Posted January 16, 2012 Hi,I thought I would stop in and say hi. I didn't find an introduction forum, so I hope here is fine. I am new to soap making. I have learned a lot from reading, and nothing from experience yet. I am currently gathering everything up to make my first batches of soap. it will most likely be another week or two away though. I have not decided on CP or HP yet, so I will give both a shot and see how it goes. My lye is on the way, it is hard to find around here, I have some oils on hand but need a few more, and I need to get a few minutes to put a mold together. I have the wood for the mold. She wants me to make glycerin soap, cause when she could afford it at Bath and Body Works, she would get it and thought it was so great. I assured her it was going to all be glycerin soap.
