AlwaysWondering
I bought a metal soap cutter miter box and the metal soap cutter blade thing. As I'm slicing my MP recipe from Prairie Annie, I'm getting a clean cut but lots of shaving on the top and the bottom. Is this typical? My only change to the recipe was substituting the jojoba with Olive oil in hopes of making it harder and not losing lather which I read jojoba can do. It's hard, maybe too hard? I'm brushing the shavings off but it is a mess. Nature of the beast? Oh, and I'm using the LCP, low sweat white base from Brambleberry. I really appreciate all your help! Makes me feel better about my shavings. I took a look at your shop. The Passionate Kisses soap has heart swirls in it! That is incredible. Are your solid perfume tins actually pill cases? I'm looking for one that is like that rather than a hinged lid, those always break on me.
