No photos, speed not an issue, don't need for scanning or faxing, don't care it if is noisy. This one is wireless but don't really care about that feature. Looking for crisp font, no smudging, no jamming of label paper. That's it. As for heavy label printing I cannot say for sure, but it is a great printer for me for the last two years. I have a bit different model but just the one a couple of years younger than this one.
