jerszgrl Posted November 14, 2011 Share Posted November 14, 2011 I decided to try using Goats milk in my Oatmeal Milk & Honey soap.I was really happy at the outcome. I had very good luck with using the goats milk at the nearly frozen state. After doing a lot of investigating that was the best way to keep the milk from being scorched. So I not only used the nearly frozen milk, but I kept it in an ice bath and gradually added the lye to keep the temp constantly under 90 degrees. It took about 10 mins to get the lye fully incorporated. Patience makes perfect. Now I have to wait for the soap to cure before seeing how it feels on my skin. Will post again with the results. periwinkle Posted November 15, 2011 Share Posted November 15, 2011 A couple of months ago I bought some goat's milk soap, and I loved how soft it made my skin feel.
