mlomeli
So here is the question, should all FO named Amish Harvest, smell the same? Peak is out and it's our most requested candle. So much, we have to delay because Peak is OOS. I can find on other sites, but I don't know if they'd be the same. Thoughts?thanks,Matt
ksranch
I would have to say not neccessarily. I have lots of scents with the same name from different companys that are nothing alike. That's why when the sample sales go on and I'm looking to try something new I'll order the same thing from more than one, to find the one I like the best, and find the ones where they do smell the same so I have more than one company to choose from. Not saying it doesn't happen, but it's my experience that more often than not they are different. There is a thread about "Twins" you might check there.. Stella1952
but I don't know if they'd be the same. Thoughts?Yes. TEST samples from other sources. NEVER depend on 1 source for a top-selling fragrance. Have a Plan B, and C, and D... Edited October 29, 2011 by Stella1952

Sharon in KY
I can send you a sniffy to smell. Just a little scent on a piece of thick paper. I know what you mean about trying other suppliers. I have had several go out of business this year and I'm discontinuing most, instead of testing new.How confident are you? JanetsCandles
Test for sure! I found out the hard way that "Clean Cotton" is very different from two of my suppliers. One smells like laundry dryer sheets, the other smells... Well it's a fruity clean type smell. Hard to describe but one of my personal favorites. Very different.
